I had a driveway and patio area - approximately 1750 SF total - paved in September 2020 by Wight Stone Concrete. I received 5 quotes and chose to have the work performed by Wight Stone Concrete. I had an initial great impression when Henry, the owner, came to give me an estimate. This was during Covid and he showed up with a mask on, even though we were outside. This demonstrates a courteous and respectful attitude towards customers. He was extremely thorough and precise in his measurements and review of the area. He addressed all of my questions and concerns and provided accurate and knowledgeable information regarding all aspects of the project. This included when the project would start, how many days to complete and the task of each day. He followed up with a contract that included the work to be performed and all agreed upon details of the project. The work was accomplished as agreed upon, on time and at a reasonable price. His business license, bonding, and insurance were all in order. I found Henry to be very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and helpful. He provided excellent customer service and cares about doing quality work. I highly recommend Wight Stone Concrete for your concrete projects.

Henry, Charles, and their employees were extremely friendly, professional, sincere, caring, and focused in doing their detailed concrete job in my backyard and to the side of my garage at a reasonable, fair price. They also offer a one year guarantee/warranty for their work. They also build my retaining wall with grey bricks. I would highly recommend them doing high quality concrete work. Depending one the square footage on the work needed, prepare to spend at least $10000 for excavating, dumping soil/grass, materials and labor. Well with the job. The company is bilingual. I sent a quote request for driveway and also a concrete front lawn install to reduce my mowing and bush trimming time on Home Advisor; quote was sent to 3 companies and 2 of the 3 responded right away. The first contractor showed up and quoted me $8500 without plant/bush removal after seeing the property for front lawn area. Plant bush removal was a couple of thousand more. I did not get a driveway quote because he mentioned the nearby tree appeared to be cause of the cracks on the asphalt adjacent to the driveway and this may affect the future work. He asked me when I could put a deposit down, if any today, but I was not ready or in agreement with cost and told him to give me a week. He seemed friendly and gave me his business card, thanked me and off he went. Little did I know, first contractor called me three more times and I started to ignore him. Then the first contractor sent me an email lowering the cost by more than $3000 for that front lawn area. I was convinced that the car salesman type of personality was not getting my business. Henry from Wight Concrete called me about an hour later after the first contractor. I did not express much interest because of the previous quote but Henry mentioned he was nearby so I agreed. Henry arrived, walked around the area, explained the process and gave me a quote without asking about the previous contractor. He asked what’s I was looking for and was open to listening. He appeared very knowledgeable about his line of work, genuine and honest. He did not ask about any deposit; I actually had to ask him because I wanted to discuss payment options. In terms of time frame, he told me the earliest he could start was about a week out because he had another project going on. His price was lower and more within my range. The concrete was poured by Henry’s team during the hours I was working and I came home to beautifully laid out concrete. I ended up having a front porch/patio area, side wall area and a drive way and am excited to use it. I highly recommend Henry for your concrete work.
