Long overdue review! We contacted Techwood Decks (formerly WL Pro) to do a overhaul of our backyard. They were not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. Judging from their pictures and reviews, we decided to go with them and they did not disappoint! What I loved most about Techwood Decks is that they are a one stop shop for our backyard renovation. They were able to help design (with 3D renderings), engineer and construct and handle the permits with the city. The worst part of it all was not Techwood Decks but with the City of San Mateo. It took a full year to get our permits and to get our project started. I also like that Techwood Deck had different people for different tasks. Lucas handled the sales part. Leandro handled the project management part. Kaio was the floorman during the project and Wesley as the contractor that handled the main construction part. The whole team were very nice and personable and always kept me up to date with everything. They understand the project on hand and what comes with the problems that arises with the city and architects. Don't hesitate to contact Techwood Decks for your backyard and landscaping needs! They are a one stop shop and I have already referred a few friends to them.

Was looking for a contractor that could replace my back yard with wooden deck, and also do a remodelling of my Tuffshed to a normal living space. The team did a great job and I am very happy with how it came to be. The deck aethtic is beautiful, the Tuffshed now became a great place for my kids to hang out. Great communication using proper tools to have quotes, billing, progress report all in 1 place. Not just random emails and texts that you have to juggle. There were small miss communication on the scope, but the team had stepped forward to fix everything as I desired. They really care about the clients, and I would highly recommend.
