Under normal circumstances, finding a contractor that is trustworthy, willing to take your call, and care about the quality of their work is like hitting jackpot in a lottery- let alone under the current challenging environment. We had the great fortune of finding Ernie (through HomeAdvisor) to help with an interior wall modification project that involved permitting, inspection, homeowners association approval, etc. Ernie was super responsive to every question, arrived early to every appointment, was a pleasure to work with, and has strong pride in the quality of his work. Ernie was super flexible in adapting to changing conditions of the project and gave suggestions that simplified the otherwise complex project. I would not hesitate to call Ernie the next time I have a project small or large.

Do not hire this man until he resolves his previous roofing installation job issues with his previous customer.

Ernie was knowledgeable and thorough. He repaired several cut holes in the ceiling of the house we just moved into where the previous owners had cut through to install some venting. I have some construction background but this job I did not want to tackle myself. Ernie patched and re-textured the entire 600 sq for area. He was enjoyable to have in our home and his work was impeccable. You cannot even tell patchwork was done, the ceiling looks perfect. He was tidy and cleaned up well and was all around just fantastic. His son helped with the texturing and was also very personable. Overall a great experience and I would hire Ernie again in a heartbeat. Trustworthy, honest and his work is solid.

I'm regretful to say that you were not a professional person in all aspects of your work. Your amount of quote that you gave me and then just to trim the ends of the you charged me another $50. You didn't even give me the receipt. That is not professional. The other thing is I was very honest with you by presenting you with the permit issue for the job. The owner made it very clear that the city came on site and said I need a permit. I did not get the letter right away. Mike Cratian followed up with the confirmation of no permit. I provided you a copy by email a few times and you never ever acknowledge the email that I sent you. Then I left you a message on your answering service and you never returned the call. Today Angi called you to follow up with what you did. Your honesty and your workmanship with the customer and you do not respond. Which looks like you are covering up something that is not honest and not legal. I left a message telling you that it is my responsibility to get permit. I am going to send it to Angi to put on their database to let them know that the work you provided is unsatisfactory and I am opening a complaint. I suggest Angi and HomeAdvisor to continue to contact you until you respond to them regarding this ongoing issue on the permit until you respond.

I got lucky and caught Ernie between jobs. He had time the following afternoon for my project. He completed hanging a heavy sliding door that was hard to work with. He was very friendly. I kept him late to do some additional work and he was very accommodating. It cost a bit more than discussed but he did more than discussed.

He was busy but got to my job fast. He did a great job and worked fast.

Although a busy man, he was very nice and contacted me quickly. I had him fix the door plate that had rotted away on my shed. Hire this man, he's good and he's nice. My project was done well within the time period and he cleaned up after himself also.

Ernie did a good job alligning my doors. He also replaced some electrical outlets, although a few don't work. I called him to help me put up a sliding door and he said he would call back, but he never did. I don't know why.

These guys are the very best. Friendly, quick, and performed the work professionally and the completed project exceeded my expectations.

We found Ernie a year ago when we had a water problem under the house. He responded quickly, diagnosed the issue, drained off the water and installed a pump. We were thrilled with his energy and attitude as well as the work. This year, we've hired him for half a dozen small projects. I cannot say enough about his work ethic, his responsiveness and dependability and, of course, the end result. On top of that, he's just a really nice guy!

I had my refrigerator door hinge replaced, which was causing the door not to close properly. He did a thorough job of checking and rechecking for alignment with the other door . Thus he was thorough with the work. He noticed the front door was giving a problem and did a good job of repairing it . Similarly, he made sure that the small jobs he did were well done and to my complete satisfaction. For a handyman job, the price seemed high, but he accommodated by taking on tasks that required less than the minimum time set , and apportioned the rate accordingly. I have already asked him quotes for a major deck work in Spring.

Ernie is truly a "handyman". He replaced several electrical outlets and removed corroded screws that were hard to remove. He fixed several doors that were "sticking" or not aligned properly. He saw jobs that needed to be done that I had not noticed. He is very observant and doesn't waste time getting to work! I was impressed with his ability to see the problem and fix it. Nice friendly man who listens to what you want. Will hire again!

The old bathroom faucet replacement turned out to be more complicated than expected. Ernie had the right tools and did everything needed for it to be correct. Very knowledgeable and personable. Did a good job of cleaning up before and after.

Ernie was on time, friendly, experienced, didn't waste time. He fixed floor, installed cabinets, sheetrock, tape and texture. He did the best texture work I've seen and I 've seen some good work. He was so clean didn't look like he had been there. He also has a very nice wife Katie. He is now on my speed dial for up coming projects.

Didn't hire for painting; he helped me clean up my yard. He was extremely hard working, tireless and efficient.

Had a sliding patio door removed and replaced with a new one! I am very pleased with my new door! I had a budget set for this project and was very pleased when it cost less than I thought! I was impressed with Ernie's and his helper friendly manner. What I thought was going to take a very long time was done in a very short time! I feel much safer in my home now. I hope to hire him again on a project I have in mind. It was a pleasure to meet him! I would recommend him to anyone needing his service.

Fast and through. De-moss roof put up screening to keep birds from eves scrapped gutters Was quick with response time and great at fitting our project to fit his scheldule. Have already given him a list to fit other things in as he has time.

Having just learned that our crawlspace was flooded, we needed to find someone urgently. We were contacted promptly by Ernie Waldner of Waldner's Drywall and Handyman Services. What a find! Knowledgeable, conscientious, friendly, reassuring and communicative and scrupulously honest. Finished yesterday. Not cheap, but great value for money! We'll go straight to Ernie for future projects around the house.

They told me they would be done with the project on Wednesday, but they showed up early and were done on Monday. Really know their stuff and were surprisingly fast.
