Matos General Construction

This was the worst experience, I thought I was safe having Angi do the vetting, but I was wrong. I experienced every negative review posted. He jacked up my wiring and now I have to hire an electrician to fix his incompetent work. Things we agreed to were not completed. I asked several times during our negotiation meeting for everything in writing, I was told it would cost him to redo the quote. I told him I would be okay with the info in email, but he refused. Now I see why, he had the audacity to tell me he wanted another $500 and that I was taking advantage of him because he did more worked. Insane! A 3-4 day job turned into 8 days and it still was not complete. He told me that he has an 80k job to start and he can not be at my house anymore. That right there tells you something. He talked down to my female painter who has been patient and working around Walfredos half days. Oh boy, stay away from this guy!! There is just so much more. A half star is generous. I paid him to leave my house.

I had to do the project myself. He was very convincing but his work was substandard.

Never work with this person. Not only doe he not listen to what the customer is asking for. I have had to go back and fix almost everything that was done. Also left a mess all over the place.

He repaired front and side concrete steps and they look brand new! He scheduled us quickly and the job was done as promised. I wholeheartedly recommend Walfredo.

Walfredo is a very good worker. An a very pleasant person to work with,and he also did an outstanding job on my tub.

Mr. Matos is very professional. He arrived on time or early both days, cleaned up everything, gave advice about what I wanted before he started. He even waited to finish a job while I was out so i could see his concerns about the size of the gazebo we had hired him to assemble and install, took it down and boxed it up when I thought it was too big, cut the bill a bit since he did not install it. We have rehired him to reassemble and install it after all.

Was very pleased with job. Very reasonable price. He really went out of his way and put felt on the bottom on my furniture so it didn't scratch the floor and was just overall pleased.

Wally was a real gentleman, knowledgeable , and works with you cooperatively. He worked the entire time he was here. Installed new bathroom faucets in 2 sinks, and tub/shower fixtures and repaired ceiling in front bedroom. I was very pleased with result. Thank you, Wally. He is very trust worthy.

Walfredo keeps his word and doesn t give up even when the instructional booklet and parts were missing for the desk assembly. I would hire him again and would recommend him to others
