Walls Galore has been in business since 1982 servicing the area of Illinois. We are a complete painting service offering both interior as well as exterior painting and staining. Not content to offer only painting services to our customers we do all sorts of paperhanging from prepasted to fine fabrics. We do faux finishes both standard and custom and fine hand-painted murals for both adult and kids rooms. Here at Walls Galore we are certified to take care of lead paint and are fully insured. Dennis gave a reasonable estimate and stuck to it even when complications of a room meant the work had to spill into a third day. The work was beautifully done with care and he and his son were right on time every morning, working efficiently through the day. When they left, they moved the furniture back and left everything looking nice. I will hire them again when we do our next big job.

Interior Painting or Staining
Dennis and his son, Peter, did an outstanding job removing wallpaper in our hallway and painting both hall and dining room. Their estimate was accurate, they worked diligently, they showed great care with our furniture, and cleaned up very nicely after the work was completed. We were very pleased with the result and enjoyed having them in our home!

Dennis did an amazing job and recommended fixes, patches and finishing solutions that I would have never known to ask for. Dennis was a pleasure to have in my home. He did a very professional job on all the different steps involved in my repairing my problems and painting. He fixed water stains,patched a hole in my dry wall,fixed cracked and water stained ceilings,installed removed wood moldings left by a previous contractor. He came to my home four times and was on time every day. I also very much enjoyed his conversations and will miss his company today. I also will have Dennis in the very near future do and other project for me. I forgot about the old wall paper he removed and prepared the damaged wall surface for painting.

Interior Painting or Staining
Dennis painted a bedroom and two bathroom in my condo in Evanston. He worked non-stop on the project everyday. They covered and cleaned up nicely before and after. Definitely did a better job than the other painters I had hired to paint the rest of the place.

Dennis did a wonderful job of removing "difficult to remove paper" from my bathroom. His attention to detail was great as he patched and prepared the walls for painting. Throughout the entire job he was very careful within my home. Our newly painted bathroom looks terrific. I highly recommend Dennis.

Dennis did a great job of fitting and hanging a paper wall mural I had purchased in my bedroom for me. He put a lot of time and effort into it and charged a very reasonable price. He even remembered a small spot he had meant to touch up ten minutes after he had left and came back to do it! ...it was a minor touch up he could have gotten away without doing, but the fact that he returned demonstrates his commitment to quality.

Dennis is a real professional. He researched what he would need for the paper hanging, showed up on time, cleaned up beautifully and arrived on time the next day. He did a beautiful job. He is really a perfectionist. And I found his rate really reasonable for the amount and quality of work he did.

Walls Galore did a terrific job painting our bathrooms. Dennis Stern was so easy to deal with from getting the estimate all the way through getting the job done. He arrived on time, was courteous and polite, did not try to get me to have any work done that I did not want and did a great job cleaning up at the end of the day. The price was exactly as his proposal stated and most of all, the quality of the work is excellent. I will hire Walls Galore again for future painting needs and will not hesitate to recommend them to others.
