Jim is a nice enough person to work with if you do not have a timeline. Some of his subcontractors are great like flooring. Others, particularly his plumber, are terrible. Multiple code violations and callbacks to fix issues. My advice if you decide to use Jim is to not use allowances and make him provide a fixed price contract. He likes to make up the difference in his cheap quote to get your business by having most allowances categories come in much higher.

We hired Jim to build a major, two-story addition and he did an excellent job! It was a complicated project and we are very happy with the results. Jim has the right personality and experience to guide you through the inevitable stress and we will continue to recommend him to family and friends.

Jim is extremely easy to work with. He is very friendly and flexible. We have worked with him on multiple projects over the years. Including major updates to every floor of our house like new kitchen, master suite, windows, exterior, etc. his crew is also very friendly, accommodating and tidy. We could not recommend him more and will be sad when all of our projects are done.

Jim is a great communicator. That is vital when doing renovation. He had great ideas as well. He and his workers are kind and conscientious as well.
