Walt Brownell Construction

Good people that did what I needed fixed plus Hope they successfully survive the current business nightmare

Walt responded to my gutter installation request within 24 hours & provided an estimate within 48hrs. Excellence all around- knowledgeable, price, timeline, communication. Would definitely recommend and will be contacting Walt for future home projects including deck installation

Prompt and professional installation!

Walt and his guys are the best. They worked very had and fast, but still paid very close attention to details and quality of their work. They worked with me at every step of my remodel. They never complained no matter how much I looked over their shoulders or tried to micro manage. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a general contractor. No job is to big, my 4 bedroom 2 story house was damaged in a house fire. The house was stripped down to the stud to the point it was just a empty shell with boarded up window and door openings. Walt came in and rebuilt my entire home in about 3 months. Not only did he rebuild my home He made it nicer than it had ever been by leaps and bounds. He even fixed all of the mistakes and code violations made by the person who renovated the home years ago. He never lost the smile on his face when having to deal with me and my fussy wife or the bank the insurance company or the village officials. I would trust no one else with mine and my family's home, and you shouldn't either.

Walt always answers all questions. His crew is very hard working. They are adding a second story to my home and we are very pleased with them.

We hired Walt to do our kitchen. He made our kitchen look beautiful even with a lower budget. He is very easy to talk to and returns calls immediately. He completed The project in record time. He always arrived when he said he would be there and made the renovation process seamless and easy for my busy family. I would definitely recommend this business.

Walt built a 2 car garage for us with an upstairs space. The garage looks great. The price was very reasonable and we are very happy with the results. The job was completed quickly and we didn't have any problems. Would definitely recommend Walt!

Not only would I recommend to a friend or neighbor, I would use again.

Walt did a super job on my garage! He started on time and finished the garage in a shorter time then he predicted. He knew I was on a tight time frame and even worked in rain to get it done. I would recomend him to anyone as a great tradesmen and very profesional. His eye for detail made his work far above others I ever delt with. Thanks Walt for a fine job and I will enjoy my new garage.

We finished a large basement with an office, play room, rec room and storage. I interviewed 4 contractors, and chose Walt Brownell based on level of service and price. Walt had good input during the planning phase and researched the permit situation with the town. Walt clearly enjoys the construction work more than the paperwork, so I chose to write up my own specs. Walt and his crew are very courteous, keep their promises, keep the area clean, and provide quality work for a reasonable price. Customer service and satisfaction is not just a buzz word for Walt. All deviations from our expectations were taken care off immediately and thoroughly.

We were looking to add a washer and dryer in the basement which required plumbing and electrical work. To out suprise he arrived early to give us an estimate. He clearly laid out for us how the job could be done to keep the cost low without sacrificing quality or code violations. On the day of the job, he arrived early again and completed it without additional input from us.

excellent work and reasonabl rates..very professional, would recommend to anyone

I had 6 contractors come over to my house, all 6 disappointment us in one way or another. Most told me the job wan't big enough..No, I'm not kidding. I found Mr. Brownell from a referral. Walt contact me right away, I asked for an received 3 professional references. All glowing. I called him back and asked him for a cointract. He came over, scoped out the situation and gave me a what I thought was a fair price. Due to the birth of our first daughter, we needed the work completed on a certain date. Walt and his crew came over, worked in 20* temps and finished 2 days early!! He told me if our roof ever leaked for me to call him. Thank you!

I asked for 4 quotes to remodel the basement and picked Brownell construction after reviewing 1. Customer references 2. Price 3 Overall customer satisfaction I am glad I did. The whole experience was the best by far I have ever had with any contractor I had dealt with in the past. Walt and his team are very professional and completed the job to my complete satisfaction. I would have no esitation in recommending Walt to anyone. Total, total satisfaction and professionalism. SUPER JOB!!!!!!! and it came in within the estimated budget

a

They , cleaned up afterwards, were fast and did it right the first time. thanks

Very professional, we love our new basement!!!

Performed the work in a timely and professional manner. We were pleased with the outcome. We intend to hire him again for other work.

Mine was a small repair job. Other electricians quoted an arm and a leg to do it. Walter was nice enough to do it on one of his lighter days, did a satisfactory job and was very reasonably priced. He was also friendly and courteous. I would hire him again.

Walt was very courteous. He went beyond our expectations. Walt was on the job. He did the work himself and made sure it was how he would want his basement.

Fast and and efficient. will hire him again

Walter and his team were very professional and did a quality job remodeling an upstairs bedroom into 2 rooms.

He replaced my upper apartment shower with out any disruptions to the tenants living there. He was professional, on-time, very efficient and went the extra mile and replaced additional items that needed to be replaced. I look forward to using him again for other projects.

Walt Brownell made a good first impression, but some of his work was substandard or completely non-functional. He was slow in responding to requests for remedial work. His eventual response was to send his associate Joe to correct plumbing that he had improperly installed. His associate had no plumbing expertise and struggled vainly in a failed attempt to remedy the problem. I asked Joe to have Walt come to address the problem but he did not call. Two weeks after his assistants failure to correct his problem and one week after my e-mail to him detailing my dissatisfaction, I have not heard from him.

Very friendly...Hard working, beautiful work...Would recommend to anyone.
