DANGEROUS SCAM!!! This is all my experience and my opinions and what happened to me: DO NOT use Wasatch Clean Air -Apparently they bill under the name New England Air. This company left my family without heat and exposed to carbon monoxide. Long, nightmare of a story short, I hired them to clean out my duct work. At no point did we discuss, or was it in my contract that they would be accessing , or removing things from my brand new furnace. After they had completed the air duct *cleaning* and left, we realized that they had done something because we had absolutely no heat with temperatures dropping to 20 degrees. I became frantic and began immediately calling their office. It was during office hours so they should have answered. Extremes in temperature create a very dangerous situation for my family because it causes more seizures for my child which increased when the heat went out. I called over and over and left frantic messages telling them how dangerous it was for us to be without heat. I tried both of their locations, but no one would answer. To this day they have never tried to contact me to find out what was going on, fix my heater, complete the work I paid for, or apologize for their incredible negligence. Their technicians had absolutely no permission, or business taking apart my furnace. To add to the danger, three freezing days later I discovered that the reason my heater was not working is because their extremely negligent, careless technicians removed the CO2 Safety panel from my furnace and left it out. Not only were we left without heat, but they left us to die from carbon monoxide poisoning. On top of everything else I was charged for 17 vents and they only cleaned 15. They drilled and cut holes in my ductwork and did not seal them. They say they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but they will just avoid your calls and not fix, or complete anything. Absolute scam of a company whose only desire is to get paid, make false promises about results, do things without your knowledge and then high tail it out of your house before you notice what they have done. RUN!!!!!

This company charged for services not performed. They made claims and promises not fulfilled. On October 20, 2020, I had a technician that arrived from what I expected to be Old Faithful Clean Air located out of Idaho Falls, ID. The vehicle of the tech was labeled using the name of another company. When payment was posted, it came from another company. The technician was personable and proceeded to service the furnace system in my new house. The vents were very dirty from the previous tenants. He gave me a quote sheet and showed me what the services beyond the basic vent cleaning would do. I believed his promise that the treatment I was going to pay for would clean up the air in my home, and get rid of the visible growths in the vents, and protect my ductwork from further microbial growth. The technician guaranteed that within 48 hours, the visible growth would be removed, and the smell of the animal would be gone. I called the company after 24 hours asking if I should see any changes. (I did not see any changes by that point, and I was concerned). I was told that the tech would come back to re-spray the next day. He returned and did no additional vent cleaning, only spraying each vent again. We hired a second opinion tech to give feedback on the system, and he showed me where the work was incomplete in other areas - the AC coils were gritty and cleaned halfway, the ducts had carpet fibers, dust, toys, and debris left in them. The air handler was cleaned part way and had visible filth left behind after the tech did the cleaning. I was also charged for 3 supply line cleanings when this home only has two. (We went into the crawl space to verify this). I also had checked the dryer vent and found the screen full of lint, and it looked like it had not been brushed out. All of this, and more, was supposed to be cleaned by the technician for a total of $1178. I would be willing to pay for the service, as I know the ducts clearly needed it, but the company did not fulfill their promise to clean them and has ignored phone calls, texts, and emails since Monday, Oct 26th. I am looking to get reimbursed the amount paid, so I can hire a reputable company to clean the system. Additionally, reviews online showed me that the company, Old Faithful Clean Air (the ones I made the appointment with) had good reviews. But the other company has a mixture of good and bad reviews with some customers telling of the same thing I experienced.

Great advise on future projects regarding vents and dust mites, also mold. Showed me pictures of what happens when dust mites and mold take over your vents. Explained health issues involved since one of my pets has just been diagnosed with asthma. Very friendly and respectful.

I was very impressed with my technician. He explained every thing that he would be doing as well as sending me before and after pictures. I could hardly believe the difference in the pictures. He was very polite and he did the sanitizer and stuff for the mold. I have COPD and this will help immensely. Would recommend to everyone.

They upsale you like crazy! My tech told me upfront about but they don't clean your returns unless you get all your mains done. I went from an estimated $154 to $391 just to clean all vents. Then their recommended services ranged from $1,000 to $1,300. I stayed with the vents they would clean without the upsale and it cost $109 and no main was cleaned. My tech was straight forward and nice and tried to discount as much as he could but to no avail.

Bait and swap. They say they will do vents and air returns for only $7 each but then tell you that they will only to the nasty air intakes with the full service or $2,400+! I didn t appreciate the underhanded upsell tactic.

We feel a lot safer and to have clean air come this winter when we turn on the furnace.

I received a quote of around $300-500 over the phone, then when they arrived they tried to scare me into paying $2300 for a number of extra treatments because of how bad everything was. They tried charging me $300 for a chemical treatment that costs around $40/gallon based on my research and they tried to scare me into everything I read online to watch out for in terms of scammy extra charges. Once I started pushing back on the price they quickly dropped $1000 off the quote but I felt I would still be overpaying and didnt want to do business with a company who was ready to charge me that high of an amount if I wouldnt have questioned it. They also started cleaning before they gave me a finalized quote for how much it would be so I ended up having to pay a $70 minimum just to get them to leave my house. Very questionable business practices.

The price was fair. I did not expect much less. It was a time consuming process. The technician earned his money. Most of my pricing was recommended items. Probably down the line will be worthwhile. This residence had not been cleaned since construction. I am breathing easier now. Mentally and physically.

They missed our scheduled time so we had to reschedule for the next day which caused us to be behind schedule for our painting. I was originally told that it would take 2-3 hours. They sent a new guy so it took 6 hours. The technician was very nice but just took his time. I was also misquoted in pricing significantly. The technicians supervisor was baffled that I was quoted so low on a service but lucky for me he felt obligated to give me the lower price. I was still shocked at how much we paid overall. Nearly $700! If we had done all of their recommended services we would have been over $1000 and that is even with them giving us the misquoted price. I would definitely not use them again. Nothing towards the technician and his supervisor, just bad customer service and quoting.

Project: Clean Heating & Cooling Air Ducts & Vents The work done was thorough and excellent. Good clean up and finish work. They were great to work with. The price seemed very high for this first cleaning and full service, and that was not clear when I first called them. Repeat cleanings in the future (which will now be less work) are guaranteed to be more as I expected.

They did a thorough inspection and did a good job.. the price was a little expensive than i thought.

Peyton came alone one day and with an assistant (I didn't catch here name) another day. They were great. Our system is very clean and running smoothly now.

Bad follow through. Created a problem with leaking water in laundry room and still to date have not responded to my email or phone call to even attempt to rectify.

He and another young man came and put shoe covers on at our request. They took their time and were very thorough with the cleaning. They put everything back. He fixed a vent improperly installed by another company.

Austin with Wasatch Front Clean Air was great to work with. He was on time and completed the work as expected without a mess left behind. The price quoted to me was exactly what I paid. No surprises.

The only thing I would recommend would be a little more transparency with the cost evaluation.
