"Vanassa, We are sorry that you are no longer satisfied with your landscaping. I would like to address some of the concerns you expressed. In regards to filter fabric or weed barrier, there are many horticultural reasons that we do not normally use that, unless it is specifically requested or needed. Some of those reasons include preventing the nourishment and nutrients given by decomposing mulch. When installed those nutrients cannot feed the plant if there is a barrier. Additionally, the fabric normally only prevents weeds for a couple seasons and then they start to grow through or on top. So the added cost is generally not worth it in the long run. Ultimately, weeds are weeds and they unfortunately find their way to grow if they can. For the maintenance, yes they all are minimal/low maintenance plants. That would mean the basics are things they need...once a year trimming, water and then fertilizer to help them really grow healthy and lush. If you need help with these items, please let us know. We pride ourselves in designing and installing quality landscapes and we definitely want them to stay that way even years after. -Tim"
