We are a locally owned and operated company with over 22 years experience in DFW & now in Orange County, San Diego County and Riverside County in California that values honesty, integrity, and treats your home as if it were our own. Water Bionics specializes in treating the water coming into your home or business. We look at every job as it's the only job we have. Every install is different, so Water Bionics takes the time to dedicate all our attention on you until the job is completed to your satisfaction. Regardless of how busy we are or how large we grow, our commitment to you is that Doug (An Owner) will oversee installs.

I chose to work in this industry because we saw that water is the source of life and with the quality of water that we encounter on a daily base is getting worse everyday, we saw the opportunity to help all the residents of DFW & SoCal to have clean, clear, quality water for their home. We have the ability to install a water treatment system in your home and save you enough money monthly to pay for the system and ad real money back to your pocket or we will give you the system for FREE! The system just never work properly from the start. Mark came back and tried to make it work. I think it is just poor-quality equipment. I would not recommend the manufacture of the equipment or water bionics either all of the answers that they give after a review are more nonsense than fact.

Do not pay them until they get the job done and show you it is working correctly. They will not answer text or phone or come back and address the issues. I paid them thousands of dollars for 4 complete systems now I am going.to have to pay someone else thousands of dollars to fix or replace their systems

Bill, Surprised to see your post, as we were in communication with each other last week getting you copies of your invoice for filing of taxes and you never mentioned any issues that you were having. We have been to your home multiple times at no charge to investigate concerns that you had and each time nothing was wrong. Not until I told you the next time I came out I would have to charge a service fee if nothing was wrong again that I see a post like this. You had other plumbers adjust work that we had done on your sons home, I cannot be held liable for any mistakes that they may or may not have made. We stand behind our work and are always

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the state in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Businesses will not be admitted to the network if their owners or principals have the following felonies in their available criminal records*:

Arson

Assault/domestic violence/battery

Child abuse

Intimidation/terrorist threats

Kidnapping/abduction

Lewd and lascivious behavior

Manslaughter/murder/homicide/vehicular homicide

Rape/incest

Robbery/carjacking

Sex offenses

Other felonies not listed above that occurred in the past seven years

Contracting without a license in the past seven years

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened biennially.

How is COVID-19 impacting the HomeAdvisor background check program?

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, several government agencies and courts across the country have temporarily closed their offices. While HomeAdvisor will continue its background check program to the extent possible, these closures could prevent some background checks from being performed. Please be advised that, during this period, if we could not perform a background check, HomeAdvisor will allow the business into the network and match the business to consumers. As affected government agencies and courts begin to re-open, we will resume our program in those jurisdictions. Licensing

We verify any applicable state-level licenses, and we require every business to attest that they carry the appropriate local licensing to practice their trade. Please note that HomeAdvisor does not confirm local licensing. Do your own research using online ratings, reviews and through phone interviews before hiring a company.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
