Water Treatment & Purification System Repair or Service
Water Professionals was first to respond. He called several times and I explained what I needed. He told me price would be $145. The job was 1) to change filters on my reverse osmosis system. 2) to fix water hammer. He called to ask "if the reverse osmosis system was under the sink". I told him, "no, but it was easily accessible." When he arrived I showed him the system, he was not prepared with flashlight, so we got him a trouble light. I had my own filters and he spent less than 10 minutes to change 4 filters. Mr. Rick Perry, AKA Water Professionals said my reverse osmosis system system was "illegal", because there was no back flow preventer. He asked me if I knew about "Legionnaires Disease". . (I am a retired nurse). He went into a dissertation about that fact I could get this because my drain went to my septic tank and it would come from the sewer. Mr. Water Professional also checked my water pressure on my house, which amazingly was "illegal". I asked him who would arrest me for my illegal system. He could not answer. If Water Professionals meant that my system "did not meet the UBC"--- I am familiar with those requirements. He said that he had to tell me otherwise "he could lose his license." He suggested to my husband that we needed a back flow check valve on our system "otherwise it would never pass inspection". And I also needed that valve to be installed to reduce water pressure, otherwise he could not fix my water hammer. He went to his truck and produced examples of what I needed "to educate" (quote unquote) me. Water Professionals should be off your list. One, because what he told me about the backflow valve (check valve) was not true. (If you would like I can send you a picture of that backflow valve.) The backflow valve is on the drain line. Two, trying to sell me both the backflow device and the pressure relief valve for the whole house was unnecessary, because my water supplier is capable of putting that in at no charge. I have written reviews before and I have never had to write a negative one. I really regret having to write this. You may call me for any clarification. I gave him the check f My original system was installed by my deceased husband who was a Civil Engineer (a P.E. Licenses in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska) . My daughter in law is a Civil Engineer, Asst City Engineer in Poulsbo, Washington. My son is a Mechanical engineer and I called them, sent them pictures of my system. For starters, my system is "not illegal". I have a backflow valve (check valve) on my reverse osmosis system verified by my daughter in law and son, from pix I sent them via email. And, my daughter in law said that the pressure of 90 PSI may not cause issues in newer homes, however she suggested I call water company, which I will do this morning.Water Professionals should not be on your preferred list.

The installers were very friendly and wonderful. They were very professional and overall it was a great experience. The water is running perfectly in my house. They were on time and perfect with everything, the even wore booties in my house and were so informative and I feel like this is something people should know!
