I had a prior HVAC contractor that kept putting bandaids on a problem that kept occurring yer after year. I had Watkins out, they described the issue and explained that the problem was going to be expensive to repair correctly which made perfect sense after analyzing what my last contractor continued to do. The furnace has never worked better and not a blip all winter long.

Watkins contacted me after placing my needs on the homeadvisor website. They were the only HVAC contractor that contacted me. They were willing to grant me an appointment from a cancellation which was awesome; i.e. I didn't have to take off work or pay the premium for after hours service. I asked the technician to have his sales team provide me with options for replacing the leaking coil or the whole unit, so I could consider all potential avenues and do a cost/benefit analysis for permanent replacement (i.e. not just a "bandaid" to address the problem short-term. After over a week, I have not heard back from them. I also have a 5 year warranty, which the technician photographed, in addition to taking measurements, and all of the groundwork necessary to determine the next steps. I am surprised that no one has attempted to contact me. The work the technician performed was timely and professional. The system is working, but will probably fail again due to the leak(s) in the coil. I would like to evaluate my options. Unfortunately, they have not contacted me to present them. Update: I cannot get a verified time and materials quotation for services to be provided. Here's the email I sent (long winded but 100% fact) and I have received no reply from them since I sent this email days ago. Thank you Vanesa; however since you won't provide a detailed labor and materials cost estimate, I want to know what warranty you are offering for the work. I find it hard to believe that a company would initially provide an estimate of $757.10 to perform a job, which is such an exact figure, but you won't provide a breakdown of the charges. There has to be some thought behind it. How much is labor, and what supposed parts must you purchase and how much do they cost? Did your service manager use a dartboard to arrive at this price? If it were a round figure of say $650, I could at least try to understand it. There are definite time and materials charges associated with this service, but you seem to not want to disclose them. You have to realize that there are so many HVAC contractors performing services in this area that are unnecessary and are unscrupulous and taking advantage of good and honest people to make an extra buck. I paid to have your technician check for leaks in the entire HVAC system. I am a novice, so I don't know if he did a thorough job. I don't want to be one of the people that are taken advantage of that pay thousands of dollars only to find out that the work that was done was unnecessary and didn't solve the problem. I don't have the level of comfort that your technician checked for leakage everywhere in the system. I have already paid over $350 to have my system "fixed", and you want me to pay an additional $700++, yet I have no guarantee that the problem will truly be fixed? Are you just applying a bandaid, or will this really resolve the problem? I am also checking pricing with other contractors to be certain that the price you
