Write a ReviewMy small remodel, kitchen floor and a small bathroom, came in ahead of schedule and under budget. TJ heard me when I said funds were tight and worked with me to get a professional beautiful result with all the penny pinching possible. His crew were gentlemen who cleaned up every night and a pleasure to work with. Thank you,TJ, Orvin, Jon and John. I will enjoy it for years
Ultimately a frustrating project that I can live with: The finishing work is substandard and I?ve given up pointing it out. They would do a really good job with the major parts of the job but then I would have to constantly remind, point out, and wait weeks for them to come and grout or paint or install the tub or reinstall trim, or lighting, or a faucet, and still there are detail items, albeit small ones, not finished. It would be a beautiful job but for the sloppy finish work and aggravation of having to ask for corrections. I spent hours scrubbing up grout film, removing construction debris, coffee cups and water bottles from my house. They would just leave stuff where it lay or was last used at the end of the day. I stepped over Buckets of water, tools, trash, hammers, nails, screws, tiles, paint, paint tools, whatever to get to areas of my house. They left trash and construction equipment in my yard on my property for weeks. When they finally came and got their stuff they still left a bag of trash in my back yard. They could have just as easily put it in my trash can where they put the rest of their junk. During the project, I cleaned up and stored material and equipment so I could use my living area, bathroom, bedroom, and back porch. I had to clean just about everyday they were here. Lastly TJ did not listen to me well. The result was that he ordered a 32? vanity instead of a 42? for the custom install that included a dressing table. Because I didn?t want to wait another 6 weeks I agreed to go with with the 32? version of the project. It?s functional and pretty but I had to purchase and/or install additional storage units to compensate. The project started 2nd week of April. It was not a big project and though there were delays in material and a couple of change orders, it is September and I just am too tired of complaining to get the details that remain done. What is done is acceptable. I can live with or fix what?s left myself.
I am sorry that your home renovation turned out to be frustrating. The last I heard from you, the living areas were really nice and the bathroom you and your friend raved about. You loved it enough to make sure you sent me pictures of the bath accessories that you got that you said made it look amazing. Please call me so we can remedy whatever changed now to make you think it is subpar. We do appreciate your attempts at helping by pointing out the areas that were not done yet in the construction area. We normally try to reserve some of that for after we get to the point of a walk-through. I do understand things not being done in the order that you want while it is a live construction area can be frustrating. Maam, we ask that customers stay out of the construction area(this one being an isolated bathroom) during the construction period as we would not want you getting hurt, slipping, or unknowingly stepping on a freshly set tile or, sprayed texture, paint, etc. The tools and tiles are normal and we tried to keep them in the areas that we designated with you before the project began. For any trash that was not put in the dumpster that we had on-site or any area you designated we apologize. The cabinet was ordered due to the fact that you also have a 3-draw cabinet next to it and to accommodate your change in the decision you needed more seating width in the makeup desk area. Change from 24 to 27 inches. As discussed this didn't allow room for both so we went with your selection. This project was multi-staged with the front living area being completed before bathroom selections were even made. I do also understand that the Covid pandemic materials did take longer, with the late mid-project change from a standard prefab vanity to a custom makeup/vanity combo, numerous other change orders and design changes, and with you getting Covid, even though some of the time was nonwork time between phase one and phase it still is not as fast as any of us would want. Please reach out so we can see if something can be done again to recapture the feeling like your projects are amazing.
T J and this company are amazing to work with. I showed them what I wanted from a Pinterest post, wanting to remodel my master bath shower, and they were able to match it exactly. And the install was very efficient, and matched by the craftsmanship.. Their pricing is definitely competitive, and when you add in the high-quality, you know youâ ve made a good choice in a contractor. Oh, and they continue throughout the process to be willing to make any alterations that you might want. Really, really pleased.
