Their faulty inspection is costing me thousands of dollars and hours upon hours of headaches and inconveniences. they missed absolute obvious issues (7 power outlets that do not work at all, cracks on floor tiles, doors that can not close, toilets that do not work, massive leak in bathroom sink, and much much more). after several weeks of trying to communicate with them and them originally ignoring me, i got a full refund for the inspection only once I emailed the owner. I trusted this company so dearly and was betrayed. I did 1 previous inspection before this faulty one and it came back great, but the 2nd time was absolutely awful. I will never again deal with this company and I highly suggest you choose a different company to do your home inspection.

I am very pleased with the service from Waypoint Property Inspections. Todd did a 4-Point Inspection of my house, which was required for a mortgage refinance. He was very professional and efficient, took many pictures and included them in the report that is very detailed and easy to understand, and replied promptly to the questions I had after reviewing the report. With the refinance approved and closed, I feel relieved to know the status of all 4 systems that he inspected.

Exceptional service provided by a very knowledgeable inspector. Comprehensive reports in easy to understand terms. We had four inspections performed: general , termite, 4 point and wind mitigation, for $500.00 total. There may be cheaper alternatives available, but I think they were worth every penny.

Hired to do Home Inspection and paid $450 for an inspection that took approx. 1.5 Hours. The Inspector did a rush job and missed many things that He was paid to find.

"A review of the inspection report showed four pages of detailed issues with the house from electrical to a/c to many others. We are unsure what the client was unhappy about and we were never contacted following the inspection advising of their dissatisfaction. The inspection was thorough and priced accordingly. We have requested that the client contact us to discuss further. As of 2/1/2012, we have never received a response from the client."

I didn't read up on home inspections before and this inspector charged me an extremely high price for an inspection and a windstorm survey. His inspection didn't even catch a broken garage door -- how do you not find that? -- and a leak in the shower pan in the master bath. A contractor I had come in afterward caught the leak immediately just by looking at it. This inspector was friendly, but extremely verbose and took forever to do an inspection that ultimately didn't catch any of the major problems. Even my realtor was able to accidentally find a broken garbage disposal that this guy overlooked. I wouldn't not recommend him at all.

Waypoint was very responsive. However, I expected them to cover any mold questions more diligently. In Florida mold can be a problem. Apparently, very little effort was made to resolve any mold questions. Also, since there was not much furniture in the apartment inspected I felt certain responses were not adequate. For instance, "receptacles were not inspected due to furnishings." If there was a small sofa in the way, move it!

Mr. Wahl was prompt and courteous at the time of the inspection. I received his report within 24 hours and the report was easy to read. Despite the challenges of having the current owners living in the residence at the time of inspection, he was able to give me a detail report of what things to take care of once i move in.
