They have taken more than $2400 from us and failed to complete a single job. My basement leaks worse now than it did before they came out. The owner Angelique told me to take her to court if we were unsatisfied with their work. As of the date of this review, roughly four months have passed since they were initially contracted. Hire literally anyone else for your basement needs.
Response by Weather-Guard Contractors: I was first contacted by my customer on 12/20/18 to schedule work to be performed on the 1/9/19. We walked the job with the customer to the initial work that contract by a real estate transaction that was closed on in November. During the consultation with the customer, she indicted that they had another issue they were battling with a water leak. She said that water was penetrating through a pipe that was coming out from the foundation wall in their basement. The foundation wall where the pipe as coming out had a tar like substance that covered the whole area of the wall. We questioned the customer about it, but the customer said they only saw water coming out of the pipe and nowhere else. Our recommendation was to seal the pipe area from the exterior and pipe off all the downspouts away from the foundation. The charge was $600.00 . A month later the customer called and said it was still leaking. My technician went out there to inspect the problem. He asked the customer if they thought it may be leaking from another area because he says no indication that water was leaking from the pipe we sealed. He then asked permission to try to remove some of the tarlike substance from the all. They gave him permission. Once the wall was exposed, they discovered a long big vertical crack close to where the pipe penetrated in the foundation wall. Plus, the water was now seeping out through the cold seam of the slab and floor. My tech explained this is an unforeseen new scope of work and that is not covered on the initial repair under the pipe penetration contract. He offered that since he was there, he would fill the crack in hopes this would to help slow the water seepage and it may stop it but if it did not we would have to come out to do a more extensive repair and it would cost more money. My tech when he was there helping them made no attempt to collect any additional money or made any agreement that what he did was under any new warranty. He explained to them a more extensive repair will need to be on a new work order and there would be a charge for the repair. The customer contacted the office and asked to speak with me. I called them and they let me know that the crack was leaking. I asked, ?What crack??, they said the crack that was exposed when my tech came to repair the seal around the pipe. He scrapped the wall because the pipe was not leaking and need to find out what the problem was. I then explained that this is a new scope of work. I then gave them two different options to fix the repair with the charge for each. After I quoted the prices the Mr. became irate and used foul language. I told him that I will not tolerate the foul language, I will try to look at the pictures he sent to me to come up with a cheaper solution for the repair. The next morning, I called the residence and spoke with the Mrs. and gave her my option very reasonable. I offered to come out to look if the more reasonable solution was an option or if we have to go to the would work than more expensive option. I scheduled the day and time with the Mrs., and she was good. That afternoon the Mr. called me and demanded that he wanted the repair done that week at no charge. I explained that this is not under warranty because this is a whole different problem and type of repair altogether. He then started using foul language with me again. I told him, I will not tolerate any more after another 5 minutes of this I then hung up. I will not do any repair or service for him. After I hung up on him, he then proceeded to call me over and over?a total of 15 times. A couple days later, the office let me know that the Mrs. called and wanted to speak to me. She still wanted me to come out to quote the repair. I have fulfilled my obligations on the scope of work that is written on my contract. My contract also states that the repair is based primary on the customers description of the proble

Very customer oriented! Very fair price! They made suggestions and provided additional options to keep our basement dry, and the entire job was completed in one day. Hard working and courteous crew! They deserve more than the 5 stars alloted!

The original estimate called for 3 days of work, so the $3,400 estimate was reasonable The actual work took less than a day and I later found that more work (replacing some dry rotten wood) should have been done. So $3,400 for an incomplete job feels very expensive to me

They sent a crew to hand dig around my foundation to stop water infiltration into my garage and the work was completely as advertised. This was a challenging project as they had to work and repair around a couple of tree stumps that were growing into the foundation in places. Generally a good job of cleanup at the end and my garage has been completely dry since they finished the work in spite of all the rain lately. I was worried as their bid was significantly lower than the others I received, but apparently that worry was unfounded. All in all, very happy with the work. The only minor complaint is that a little bit of the dry-in material is visible along the base of the garage, but my understanding is that I can trim that later once the soil resettles, so no big deal really.
