This company is terrible! If no stars were an option I would have picked that. Earlier this year I decided to have my roof replaced. I discovered weather tamer at a booth at a home show. I made an appointment at the home show for a free quote. Steve Webb came to our home and gave us a quote of $9350 to repair the roof and fix some siding over the roof of my front porch. The siding had been damaged by squirrels. We agreed to the quote(which included the siding repair) and set a date for the roof and siding work to begin. The roof repair went smoothly and was done in one day, but the siding had not been repaired. Also another piece of siding was damaged when a roof nail pierced it. I waited patiently as Steve promised me that a contractor would be out soon to repair all the damaged siding. About a week later the contractor did show up but had ordered the wrong siding. The contractor asked if he could take a piece of the damaged siding to ensure he got a correct match. He told me he would be back in a few days to fix everything. I told him it was fine to take the piece of siding even though it exposed the wood frame of my house. I assumed he would be back in a few days like he told me he would. A week passes and still the siding repairman is a no show. I call Steve and he assures me that it will be taken care of within the week. This back and forth continues for 6 more weeks. All the while, the roof of my porch is exposed. Then one day while I am unavailable the repairman comes to my home, puts the damaged(now discolored) piece off siding back up and leaves. I call Steve again to complain and he promises me to have someone out to do the repair within 2 days. I respond by telling him that will be fine, but I have been very patient and if it can not get done within 2 days he and I will need to discuss a refund to me for the cost of the repair. His response was I can tell you this there will be NO refund He then proceeds to tell me that the holes in my siding are not causing me any problems and I should just go put tape over them. I respond by telling him they are a problem and he made a commitment to fix them and I expect that commitment to be honored. I also have already paid him for these repairs even though they have not been done. I continue to press that if they repairs are not done then I want a refund. He screams there will be no refunds. I reply then I guess you will be getting a call from my attorney. He screams do whatever in the hell you have to do and hangs up. I have not heard from him since and the repairs remain undone. I am deeply disappointed by experience with this company.

Only thing I'd say is sometimes he's hard to get a hold of because his phone and where we both live sometimes you cant get a connection because the cell towers. But he did an excellent job and I've already recommended him to several people.

Absolutely horrible. Contracted mid April 2018. After a multitude of delays, many with lame excuses, they finally installed in June. They came and did the wok on a day even though I had told Steve Webb, the owner, that I did not want it done then because we would be away. They sent a sub contractor, Outdoor Oasis & Decking without telling us beforehand that Weather Tamer would not do the work. Most of the wood is of poor quality, as is the quality of the work. Nails protruding, lots of boards installed with the lumber yard stamp facing up, poor splicing of deck railing, incorrect spacing of floor boards, support posts not anchored, which resulted in twisting. I called them dozens of times and even sent them a certified letter, which they did not pick up from the post office for several weeks. The only action they took was to deposit some replacement lumber in my driveway in early November, where it still sits. They will not return my phone calls and when I call from a number they do not know, they hang up as soon as they know that I am on the phone. I now have no choice but to take them to court. Worst company of any type that I have ever worked with.

Project: New Windows - 6 +
We had 17 windows replaced and the windows are great quality! The price was great for all of the windows as well. As far as the work quality, that's where it was unsatisfactory. The husband/wife team who put them in were EXTREMELY unprofessional. There is actually one window where the outside trim was never finished. The owner himself is very pleasant but whoever it was he hired to put our windows in was not good at all.
