Weatherguard Insulation

He got the job done, but did not cover insulation with plastic outside. Something simple he could have done.

They were prompt, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. I am amazed at the difference the new insulation has made in our house. However, I am still waiting to receive my invoice/receipt for my records.

My experience with Weatherguard was a mix. At first, Fred was reluctant to come for an estimation because my house wasn't so big and a little bit far from his company. Then he changed his idea made an appointment, but didn't show up. I didn't let it go because his quote was the lowest. Finally he came to take a look, and said he could do it the next day. He called me again that night saying he'd forgot another appointment so they couldn't come until after 10, and I said it's ok. But his men didn't come until 12:30 and he didn't come himself. I was hoping they could finish in one day but the workers wrapped up around 4 and came again next day.

Had to pay extra for what I thought was part of his bid.

Overall the experience was great. My only complaint would be Fred did not present a confident persona about insulation. He seemed to second guess himself, and did not act like the insulation expert I expected him to be. I think he could have acted more professional, but the installation was fast and executed to my satisfaction.

He called me literally within an hour of me submitting my request, which I appreciated very much. He was also able to get a crew in to blow insulation the very next morning (small job - in the attic area above my converted garage). He worked with me on the price, and it was reasonable; job well done. The crew was polite and efficient. My only "complaint" is that they left greasy/black fingerprints on the white ceiling trapdoor to the attic. Other than that, I was very happy with the company and would recommend them and/or use them again if the need arose.

I think his employees needed to be better equiped with safety equipment for their own benefit. Lights, goggles, respirators etc. They did a great job.
