Seemed very nice called to hire. They Do not return calls. Horrible communication.

He was very courteous and professional and came out right away.

John was friendly and did a great job fixing the window.

John did what others were unwilling or could not do. He repaired 4 windows that would no longer open and close properly. Others either could not find the parts or did not do this type of repair. He saved me money.

John assessed my repair promptly, ordered parts and repaired within a week

They came early did the job and was gone.

John called ahead of his scheduled time and showed up within 15 minutes after. He then assessed the problem and went straight to work. It was a simple one so he made quick work of it charged a small fee and poof he was done and gone so I could go about my normal day.

John was top notch. Did exactly what was promised for the price quoted. Did project and it turned out better than expected. Very trustworthy as I or no one else could be there when he did his work. Does not try to "oversell" you either. I have more projects I will use him on.

I had the glass repaired on two windows on my second floor. John and his son did a great job at a good price in a very timely manner.They will be my only choice for any future window repairs.

Initially very responsive to the need to replace the top half of a double hung window that needed to be replaced to a failed 'seal'. Price was reasonable however, getting it installed was a challenge and it was finally completed but, not without several phone calls and follow ups. They are busy, very professional, courteous and did good work. My recommendation is to expect to stay on top of the engagement from start to finish.

BEWARE. I called this "company" to come out for a quote, and had to leave a voicemail. They never got back with me. I called again and John stated he never got my voicemail and set up a date to come by for a quote. He never showed up on that day and wouldn't answer the phone. The next day he called asking what time he could come by. He quoted $700 to fix 1 window missing the glass and 4 window balances (8 total balances). He said it would take about a week to get the glass and parts. I received a call 2 weeks later it was ready. I was unable to be there for the install, my elderly father met him. He did not measure the balances correctly and only one window was able to be fixed. For the window needing new glass, he did a horrible job. He took non-adhesive latex painters caulk that I had at my home and tried to caulk the window in, when silicone or adhesive latex should be used. I do not know why he wouldn't have the necessary equipment. The caulk was smeared over the window glass and not even smooth. When I took a closer look, it wasn't completely caulked and the glass was cracked. There were many large gaps in which light/air were coming through. I feel an amateur could do a better job; I feel I could do a better job. My father paid $395 for the glass "repair" and 1 windows balance (2 balances). John then quoted my dad $500 for 3 more window balances. I guess he wanted to charge for the wrong parts? I have called John 3 times and left voicemails regarding the horrible job and the inflated quote to finish the job. He has not returned my calls. I had to remove the window for it to be redone correctly. I do not know how there are so many good reviews.

Slow to respond

John Clanton and his son were excellent and on schedule with the window repair. It looks great and took only one week from the estimate until the new window was custom ordered and installed. Definitely recommend!
