"Wow. This is quite funny. Here's the facts: 1) This customer called us twice, first to have us complete the work, Then she called us back to tell us she was going to go with another company much cheaper because their quote was $100 including materials and ours was $200 without materials. As the owner I encouraged her if she could find someone who offered the quality and experience we do at a better price that as an homeowner I would do it, 2) I asked whether she had checked them out background check, etc. She hadn't. With the number of companies who scam people was shocked she had not even conducted a more thorough search. Cannot trust anyone. 3) She kept me on the phone for a half hour then said she changed her mind and asked us to complete the work 4) We show up at the appt and she won't open the door but just kept peeking out the window. Very weird. 5) After about 5 minutes talking from the other side of the door, she opened the door. 6) She tried to get us to reduce the price and throw in cost of materials 7) She denied that we had discussed price not including materials. 8) Then after recounting our long conversation she replied "Oh yes that's right." 9) Then she signed the paper to have work done. She started acting even more weird and odd and left us feeling REALLY uncomfortable. As we pulled away I called her back and let her know that I was not comfortable when a customer tries and changing the terms of what we agreed to and that she was complaining about price again felt that it would be best for her to use someone else.
