The walkways look great -- such an improvement over what we had. Good price, too, compared with other quotes. Communication from them wasn't always clear, but we're happy with the finished work.

We reviewed our options with Wenzel and decided NOT to create a wall due to expense. Instead we used fill to create a gradual slope and created a nice new lawn. Needed to remove 12 huge trees and stumps, bring in fill, loam, grade, and seed.

Mark is very organized with his schedule and gives the reasonable price. Most importantly, he pays attention to what I want to do but not what he is more interested in doing.

We required a new set of front stairs and Mark came up with a good alternative to brick. We had our old concrete stairs removed, a full set of granite steps installed and had all of our front shrubs removed. Mark made every effort to get this job done by the deadline date I had requested. He is very creative and had some great ideas for re-landscaping and in my choice of new shrubs. Mark and his crew arrived very early each morning and worked very hard until the project was complete. They were all very personable and easy to work with and cared about the quality of their work. I would definitely recommend them.

Mark Wenzel was very professional and he did excellent work. He was prompt, he called and let you know what he was doing and when he would do it. If you have landscaping needs ,I would go to Mark.

We have hired Mark Wenzel to handle our project, but the job will only start when we get the necessary permits from Town Hall. So far, Mark has been very responsive and accomodating to our needs.

Having Wenzel, Inc. was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Mark and his crew were extremely polite and courteous. The grounds were left neat and clean each day. I left the selection of shrubs and landscape design up to Mr. Wenzel. To sum it up, I am the envy of the neighborhood. Even two professional landscapers have asked who did the job. Mark was excellent to work with. Extremely professional. The best contractor I've worked with in five years of rehabbing my 1950 year old Cape Cod style house. I will use him again for my next project.

The two other companies suggested failed to follow through. Wayne Podzka (?) came out and didn't even send a quote; Bob Sweeney came out, sent a quote, and then I never heard from him again. I have quite a bit of work to be done, so they lost out on a good customer. But I also did not appreciate their wasting my time.
