Did a very good job an knew how to fix problem

Michaelâ s response to my sprinkler system issue was very quick. And his knowledge and professionalism in solving my problem was great.

Michael Furr, the owner of Fastivous Sprinklers, originally quoted me $480 over the phone to replace four above-ground valves that feed four sprinkler areas. Upon arrival at the project site, Michael increased the quote to $1000, proposing a below-ground installation. I gave him a check for the $1000 before he completed the job because he said he needed to buy parts. Due to smoke, rain, and his stating he had a cold, the project was understandably delayed. Michael then began asking for additional money, first $75 to connect the downspout to the drainpipe adjacent to the valves. I did not agree to that because I felt it should have been included in the original quote. Then the quote was increased in the amount of $100. These requests continued over the next several days or weeks and every request for additional funds was enveloped in his dialogue about how he had underbid the job and followed by complaints about the distance he was driving (Grass Valley to Auburn). He was living in Grass Valley when he quoted me the first $1000 to complete the underground sprinkler valve replacement. These random requests for additional funds were never listed on an invoice until he was just a few hours from finishing the job. We repeatedly asked for a contract, an invoice, a work order, or something to outline the requests for additional funds after we paid the amount quoted for the underground sprinkler system before he ever began the job. The final quote ended up being over $2,700.00. Michael said he would split the difference between his final quote and the original price quote with us. He wanted an additional $825 to complete the job. At no time did he provide us with a correct invoice, contract, etc. Instead, he sent us three different forms with three different sets of numbers on them and none of those numbers agreed with one another. He never indicated or mentioned he was charging for travel or any other miscellaneous items. He refused to complete the job until he received the additional $825 he requested. He sent a text message stating he would not be working or attending to this job until he received the requested payment. At this point I agreed that our working relationship was no longer productive and stated there was no need for him to come back to finish the job. I outlined my issues about the price continuing to increase, the proposed work orders or itemizations not matching, and the inappropriate text responses I had received to my questions. By the next morning all the work and materials I had paid for (4 valve manifold underground sprinkler system) had been removed, leaving a hole approximately 18x24 and 18 deep with multiple unprotected pipe ends. When this project started, I had a 4 valve above ground sprinkler system that was leaking but working. Now, after paying Mr. Furr $1000, I have nothing but the hole in the ground and a mess that I will have to hire out to be finished.

I highly recommend Michael Furr, for irrigation systems, he is very knowledgeable and he performed an outstanding job!

Was able to provide a rough estimate for the job upon providing photos. Once arrived made the adjust based on what couldn't bee seen and completed the job same day
