WARNING: Do Not Do Business with this Company I hired West Coast Relocation to move from CA to GA. What started as a good experience ended with the worst experience I have had with a company. I should have read the other reviews which listed the same issues that I experienced. West Coast Relocation subcontracted my move out with a different mover and mixed my move with someone elses. When they got to my new place in GA they insisted on cash up-front and to sign releases before they even opened the truck. This is when I discovered the main issue which was that they strapped down my drafting table to the back of the load which caused the iron base to snap during transport which made the table unusable and the wooden table to be gouged by the broken iron support. Paul Taylor, main contact and possible owner, admitted that it was their fault and promised to replace the broken part or replace the table. The next month was filled with promises, unreturned calls and total lack of customer service. You will never get a return call from Paul. When I finally got a hold of him, after leaving voicemails and messages with other employees, he said he was going to send a check for the replacement value of the drafting table (approx. $1,800) that day and send an email confirmation. He did not send the confirmation email and did not send the check. This continues until this day. Do not believe anything they say about how good their insurance they carry for damage to your items. It only covers 60 cents per pound. This is for anything they are moving whether it be a piece of artwork or a valuable piece of furniture. I can only warn you not to do business with this company. But do not rely just my experience read all of the reviews. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

They messed up my first appointment with 2 different reasons but came the next day and were great.

The work was okay but they charged me four times the written estimate they provided. Paul agree not to charge me for materials that were not in the estimate but charged my credit card for it anyway and without giving me an invoice first. I had to ask repeatedly for an invoice.

the movers arrived over an hour late. I bought moving pads at $15 each most were dirty with holes a few were new.

Worst movers ever. Do NOT hire them. Some cartons were generally labeled (ie. kitchen, bathroom). Most were not. Packers came the day before & their team leader pretty much knew where everything was BUT he called in sick the day of the move. I can't find anything. Heavy boxes were stacked on top of lighter boxes. I am finding breakage. They didn't move my plants, forgot the microwave & 2 large boxes in the garage after I reminded them several times. Technically the move was not complete. I was told by Paul that they would be back to pick up the pads they forgot, and would help be break down some boxes. That did not happen & Paul didn't seem to care one way or another about things going wrong during my move. A four mile move turned into a nightmare. They simply don't care.

Our moving team was terrific. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and very accommodating. Our move went as planned and we couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you guys from West Coast Relocation.
