Through our financing company we provide all types of residential financing, including a unique construction-to-permanent loan for remodeling, new construction and lot purchases. This allows us to loan up to 95% of the FUTURE VALUE for new construction and purchase of existing homes that need remodeling. Very slow with the plans. Told us the service included managment of the project to final design, permits and contractor selection. Came back and wanted additional $75 per hour and mileage for permit process after we had already paid him. Backed off after we stood firm. Seem pre-occupied and ignored our lower cost alternative, then proposed it as an alternative after meeting with the contractor who also suggested it and wants to bill us for additional design hours. I objected and have not received final plans or a phone call after he said he would stop by yesterday.

"We met on a March 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m to review project and discuss terms. I told him that our fees would be $2,500.00 plus blueprinting cost and applying for permits was an extra charge. A deposit of $1,250.00 was required. The Owner told us to begin work that day, which we did without a written contract. We met again on March 18, March 24 and April 1 to present completed plans."

This firm took their time and put a lot of thought and effort into the design for our room addition. They listened carefully to what we wanted and designed our addition accordingly. We have also hired them to manage our construction using their builder for this project which won't take place for about 6 months. I would recommend them and will follow up at the end of 2008 after our project is built.
