I had a repair tech come to my house and call me from my front porch letting me know he was there. I never received any sort of notification that they would be coming, or even a confirmation that they had received my request. The tech was great, but the office seems disorganized.

Hired them to install a whole house humidifier that I had personally purchased. Clarified ahead of time that things like water and drain lines and bypass ductwork were included. I was told they were unless there were unusual circumstances and at most would be an additional $40. When the guy arrived he said it would be an additional $80 for everything. I needed about 6 ft of water and drain lines and maybe 4 ft of ductwork and a few feet of wiring- not unusual amounts. I also could have bought everything at Home Depot for about $30. I complained and showed him the conversation I had through this website. He then knocked it down to $50. If I hadn't taken time off from work and knew my wife wanted this done asap, I would have canceled the service. This is classic bait and switch which I tried to avoid by asking ahead of time about additional charges. Just to be fair though, the work was excellent. And the guy took the time to go through in detail how everything worked which was nice. Still doesn't make up for the additional charges though.
