Company never showed up after postponing for 4 hours. Iwouls still be waiting if I never reached out. Made one excuse after another. Can?t rate their workmanship because they never showed up to do the work. Would look for another company and not attempt to use.

They did not show up on time or communicate updates as to the delay. When I messaged to ask where they were (after waiting 2 hrs at home for them), they said they'd be another couple of hours. I had to cancel at that point because we had plans & they had already messed that up for us. I told them I was canceling at that point because we couldn't wait any longer; they were very rude about it.

Honest and quick. Originally somebody told me I needed a new chimney liner. They came in and showed me the condition of the chimney and reassured I didn't need a new one. They did do some patch work and cleaned it up. I got a new stack as well.

Feel the quoted work was not met since bricks were to be replaced and were not. Areas that were to be sealed do not look like it, but clear sealant. Was told the brick would ?wash? up after rain and it has not.

You can see the 2 in wide concrete at the top of the hearth and the hearthstone inside of the firebox. You can also see the varying overhangs and the wide insert of additional concrete at the top of the hearthstone on either side to account for the additional space due to miscalculation. I have had numerous conversations with Katie who talks over me telling me this was done to code. She promised me twice last week that her manager would call me and I have not heard from anyone. Hired Shamrock Chimney (Kalamazoo, MI) to inspect and replace furnace vent pipes, but it felt more like a sales pitch from start to finish than a professional service. They pushed a scripted ?special deal? because it was the owner?s son doing the work. They didn?t bring a ladder inside, instead stepped on my furniture, and failed to clean up, sweeping dirt and debris into a storage tote in my basement. Claimed to use only high-end steel parts, but had to run to the store for a cheaper part they needed and said it would be fine. The lack of care, cleanup, and professionalism left me disappointed. The whole experience felt more about selling than quality service. Wouldn?t recommend.

Hi, I called Shamrock Chimney service and Ms. Mary (service rep) work with me in setting up an appt. when is very convenient for me. Mr. Billy came around and started to work! Took pictures of what was happening with my chimney.. I must confess, I was not surprised. He completed the job in less time than I expected to take! Thank you guys! The guys know their stuff. They worked diligently and took pictures so I better understood the situation and what needed accomplished. They were neat and conscientious around my wood stove. The price was more than anticipated and perhaps if the situation weren't so dire, I might have shopped around more, but they were on top of it and the end result was much improved. They also found a crack that will need to be addressed in the near future. My only complaint was the two cigarette butts left in my driveway.
