UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW - After 8 months the workmanship of Western Connecticut Contractors has proven itself to be extremely faulty. The brick patio area that was installed had collapsed, and we had to hire another contractor to repair the project. Oscar, the owner, failed to keep any of his promises to back up his verbal warranty, and was extremely abusive to my wife. This resulted in a complete breakdown in all communications with him. The stone repair work around our foundation has also started to break down in at least one area. The cellar door area that they were supposed to have excavated and waterproofed is now leaking after only 8 months. The stone steps in the front of our home have become separated due to faulty concrete mixtures being used during construction. They also performed faulty repair work on our septic system, and we later found out that they are not licensed to perform septic repairs. They planted 14 trees in our front yard, 8 of them are dead or dying. Western Connecticut Contractors worked on my home and yard for 5 months, through the Summer and early Fall of last year. It appears that this company is no longer an approved Home Advisor member, and I can certainly understand why. I would like my review to serve as a warning to all. Please do not even consider using Western Connecticut Contractors for any services that you require. Their faulty workmanship only holds up for a very short time, and you will need to hire other contractors to clean up the mess.
