Write a ReviewMr. Wheeler was very friendly and professional. I would recommend him to anyone I know that wants their floors finished
Shawn removed carpet from a bedroom and sanded, stained and polished the hardwood underneath. The floor turned out really nice and I am happy with the result. Shawn was great to work with. I would recommend Wheeler for anyone looking to have their floors done.
Shawn helped bring new life to our 100 year floors. He worked hard, explained the process along the way and took pride in his work. We are happy with our new floors.
Thanks.
Shawn takes a lot of pride in his work. He might have cared more about the finished results than I did.
Thanks.
Shawn is a man of his word. My floors needed a little extra care and he came out on extra days to finish the work! He restored 90-year-old floors at my house! Due to the age and the fact that the floors are pine meant that they required extra labor. The price did not change and remain the same. Good job!
Shawn was great , hard worker. Nice detail thanks. Came up with different solutions helped us decide on the right one.
Shawn was wonderful! I would recommend him to anyone! He was always on time, answered all my questions, and was able to assist with all the tasks that I needed completed. He is very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job!
Consummate professional. Really knows floors. Expert knowledge and craftsmanship. Highest recommendation.
On March, 22 I heard my neighbor Sean wheeler to put flooring down in the kitchen, living room and dining room build a pony wall, paint my kitchen cabinets, put a countertop in and backsplash and a door for the kitchen. I gave him a $2,000 deposit which he wrote as a kicker He took me to Lowes where I purchased the supplies. He came down and sanded my kitchen cabinets and put a coat of some kind of adhesive primer and one coat of paint. Told later he would be down to put another coat of paint on twice in 2 months. He actually on May 2 told me he was going to come to finish painting. He never came. But when I fired him he said he was waiting to finish painting after the backsplash was on He has contradicted himself so many times. Of which I have on my text The countertop we bought was 4 inches too short. I was supposed to order a new countertop but in my mind, he said he was going to order. It. I went back into my text and I was wrong. But he could have started on the other projects or how about finishing a painting.? I told him he could have put the flooring down. He said the flooring was not in the contract. I find that funny because we never had a real contract made up with estimates on pricing. He asked me how much money I had and I told him $4,500.00. he then asked me how much I had on the Lowes card and Home Depot he told me that should be plenty. I paid for all the supplies but asked for a $2,000 deposit which he is not giving me back and I fired him on May 11th and this is already July 12th over 2 months ago. That is insurance money that he has and is hindering me from finishing what needs to be done for State Farm In April I never heard from him I just figured he was busy with a big project. On May 2nd he said he was coming down to finish painting. He never did come. On May 11th I texted him and told him I no longer need his service. He got angry and called me. I hired a man to put my flooring down and he did it in 2 days. He is putting a backsplash on also. Funny how Shawn told me 660 square feet of flooring and this man told. Me 400 square feet. Makes me. Wonder what he intended to do with the leftover? Was he going, to be honest, and let me take it back, or was he going to take it to his warehouse when I was at work and use it on another project? I told him I wanted my key to my home back and my $2,000 deposit. He told me he has no problem giving me my money back I just had to give him a copy of the contract. We had no contract. It was a verbal agreement and I thought his word which turns out not to be trustworthy. He said he needed a copy of the contract and the only paper he has is a. Paper that he hand wrote my $2,000 kicker as he called it on a paper about flooring!!! After he said we never discussed flooring. He is not trustworthy. I called him yesterday July 11th and he said he would put my key and the money in my mailbox. I laid on the couch all day from 7 am only left for 20 minutes. To pick up my medicine. And have been home all day since. He has not dropped off my money or key. I had to go buy new door handles with new locks because he refused to drop them off. I could see if he lived in a different city but he lives five houses away from me he goes past my house every day I see him. So he can easily drop it in my mailbox it was five houses away. I texted him about half an hour ago and told him I was taking him to court for Criminal charges when I get better with this Covid. He has taken my money and insurance money. AND HE NEVER FINISHED THE JOB. I am kind of glad because of the paint job he did my 8-year-old grandson could have done better. Drips splatters of paint on my stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and even my can opener. The job was shitty. To begin with, he is supposed to be a professional then why did not he measure my countertop right from the beginning? Would not recommend.
He is one of the worst people that you could ever hire to do anything very unreliable makes excuses for everything and we are pressing charges on him do not give him your money.
Originally done a job for bill went great he recommended me to his sister to an outside job turned in a bid for $19000 to the insurance company They came back with only wanting to pay 4000 for a $19000 job and that's when I got the review from bill why would somebody recommend me to their sister if their job when so pearl poorly I did a wonderful job on Bill's floors. I resended my contract back from the insurance company and that's why he got so upset had nothing to do with his job but his sisters. It's a shame that people could write this about another person other person but it is a digital age and I just wanted to say my part.
