Mr. Wheeler came out to replace all the screening in our screened in porch and a sliding door. He was very professional, gave us a good quote, did the work immediately that he had the available materials for and ordered the screen size he did not and came right back when the order came in. He seemed to know exactly what he was doing and very courteous. And my screens look like new.

We liked the guy, and overall, he did a pretty good job. We were disappointed by a few things, though: -One of the wall edges was crooked and paint bled over the one edge onto the other (which was a lighter color). When this was brought to his attention via text afterwards, he did not offer to fix it. -The original paint showed through the two coats he did. The estimate was for two coats, but we had specifically asked for Benjamin Moore's Aura paint (we didn't care which finish) since we had used that paint in the past and knew its quality/coverage well. This was not the paint that was used, and had the Aura been used, I don't think the old paint would be showing through. He was very nice, though, and other than the issues above, paid attention to detail and was very neat.

I suspect this was the largest job William had undertaken. It was the restoration/remodeling of four rooms damaged by water (including removal of damaged flooring/walls/panelling and vinyl floor installation, vapor wall & drywall installation in two rather large areas, painting, etc.). The scheduling/staging of materials, workers, etc. was a bit chaotic. William is engaging and establishes rapport quickly. Most work performed generally met expectations; although the "devil" was in the detail & in hindsight, may not have been adequately spelled out in our agreement. The last walk through resulted in observing some unfinished painting of drywall & trim in certain areas, chipped paint from wall/baseboard from contractor's tape, electrical outlet cover not replaced, busted thresh hold from heavy traffic area/materials, failure to leave/provide remnant of vinyl flooring for possible future repairs, etc. In an effort to resolve these issues, I requested no less than 5-7 times via phone, text, or email to have him return & complete the work he agreed to perform, to no avail. Although he responded at least 3 times indicating that he would return & complete the tasks. Lessons learned - before doing business with this or any contractor ensure a detailed contract of work to be performed; do not pay in full until final/full walk through completed to ensure any remaining corrections are made to owner satisfaction; and, when someone builds your confidence in them, remain vigilant until you are satisfied with the total project so you are not left disappointed and they are not left with a less than glowing reference.

Responded immediately. Job more complicated to install new dishwasher but price was very reasonable. William was a really nice guy, I'll call him again for future repairs.

William knows his trade! Very professional and able to adapt to situations that arise from time to time when working on homes. I had my home painted and also included stripping and retaining the deck. Both jobs were done properly and on time. If your looking for a trustworthy individual who not only can paint but also can do most any carpentry needed by a home owner. I am very happy with the job William and his team provided.
