This was a limited job prior to selling the house: repair brick flower bed, fix cracks in mortared steps and along side wall, repair cement walk. They did a good job, in a timely manner, no issues. Recommended.

I initially hired Steve to perform a retaining wall repair job for an insurance claim. He was responsive and performed the job adequately; based on this I requested a quote for some brick repair on our walkway. Steve solicited the additional work several months later stating he had some "down time" and could complete the job for several hundred less than the initial quote. Steve's invoice came with a one year guarantee, something I thought I would never have to call on until 6 months later when the steps he repaired fell apart. I called Steve and he stated he would be by the following day to evaluate the damage, the day came and went with Steve not showing up. Six phone calls later, two more missed appointments and finally no further contact, the steps remain in disrepair. I engaged Home Advisor and they offered to mediate however numerous attempts on their part to reach Steve were unsuccessful. Steve is not responding to emails, phone calls and my last attempt at a call went to a voicemail box which was full. DO NOT HIRE this mason. I was considering a small claims suit but other reviews indicate Steve is unreachable at any address listed when they have tried to recoup expenses.

Do not hire!!! Purchased a new house in July that required masonry work around the pool. Steve said he would be able to do this on short notice but would need $1250 (50% deposit) for the material right away. He did not have contract papers on him at the time (should be a warning sign). The date slipped out and Steve agreed to do this work after the pool season since his schedule was also busy. After many unanswered calls after the pool season (heading into the end of October) Steve picked up his phone and said he could not do the job do to family issues and would return the material. I have tried to get the material and contact Steve many times after that with no luck. I filed a small claims lawsuit on him last month after he dropped off the radar, making me realize I will not get my material or money back. He does not live or receive the mail at the address listed for his business (seen on this website). I tried an alternate address for the small claim which I am fairly confident he lives at which also came back as "does not live at address, no forwarding address". There is not much I can do here butt admit this is a lesson learned for me and my family to always make sure we get a signed contract. What I do want to do is strongly warn anyone about the risk of hiring Steve for masonry work should they pursue him. There are also many good reviews on here, so I am sure he does do some masonry work...but there are also some negative reviews that I recommend reading as well. I originally chose Steve based on positive reviews only. Please pursue with caution and get a contract if you engage in business with him!!!

Had Steve remove exixting tile around fireplace and floor. Put up mosaic tile. I was on a very tight time frame and Steve worked with me and got the job done very quickly. His work is excellent

Steve contacted us in 15 minutes from creating a project in Home Advisor. He came over the same day (Sunday) and gave us a firm quote. The work was done within the week. It was hgh quality and the crew cleaned up thoroughly after themselves.

He was prompt and cleaned the worksite. An excellent choice for my project.

I would recommend them to my family and friends. Steve and his crew were great. On time and the work was first class. I am so satisfied I am going to have them repair my chimney.

Steve and his son installed paving blocks at the end of my driveway . They completed the project in a timely fashion and the cost was reasonable. He said he would come back in a couple weeks to inspect and assure that all is well. We are pleased with the results and would hire him again.

Took longer than we was discussed to complete repair of chimney, wall and laying new walkway. Was told he would be back in 3 weeks after pick up of the check to complete the job. Six months and many calls later job has not been completed

He did what he said he would do, except send a written estimate, which I tried to attain over and over, and give us a written receipt,which I tried to attain over and over. He was there to pick up a check right away, but has not followed through on anything else. Also, he took away some of our material that he said he would return, it's been weeks and he has yet to do so.

WBL put in a 580 square ft. patio with a couple of 5 foot walls for us. Their price was significantly less than others and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the product. The job was completed on budget and schedule with a fantastic looking end product. It was refreshing to find a contractor that we trusted professionally and personally and was so pleasant to work with!

Steve at Wicked Big Landscape was the consummate professional. He was there on time every time and his price was very reasonable. We will certainly hire him for future projects.

It was a pleasure working with true professionals. I have been a Contractor's Technical Rep for the US Coast Guard and have worked with many contracting companies, these guys are real pros. Great communications skils, they kept us well informed of the progress of the work during each stage. There estimate for the job was beautifully broken down in detail and their estimates were very reasonable. They didn't waist any time and completed the job faster than expected. High quality work We will diffinately use them for future projects.

They did good job at first and then they stopped showing up. They broke their contract with us because they were not showing up when they were supposed to. I had to email them repetativly and they were very unreliable.

He was so courteous and polite they try to do the best they can do. We have used them several times. They are not always the best, but really try to get the work done.

Very nice job. They came exactly when they said they would and did exactly what I needed. I would use them again!
