"Thanks for taking the time to talk with my Office Manager, William, on Wednesday. William told me that you have no interest in having us come back out to your house to assess the leak that we repaired. I am sorry that you feel that the service has not been up to par and for the mishaps that happened. We do realize that it is an inconvenience when things happen on a site and as a responsible contractor we do everything possible to remedy these situations, which I feel we did. In this case we did have the fence contractor that installed the fence come out and repair the fence at no charge to you, there was a deduction from our final billing. The sewer line, in the back yard, was never marked or brought to our attention. In our proposal it clearly states that we cannot be responsible for any unmarked items underground and it is the homeowner's responsibility to show us these items if they are there. Nonetheless we repaired this at no cost as well. In regards to the additional service performed at your house which was not included in the original quoted price, the replacement of a valve and repair to the main at the valve, it is my understanding after talking to both of the technicians that were out at your house that the leak had subsided. It is also my understanding that you say there is still a leak. If this leak is due to our workmanship or materials from what we previously repaired or was damaged during our initial visit we will be more than happy to make the repair at no cost. However, we cannot make that determination without being able to take a look at what is going on. We were asked to leave the property and have been denied access to confirm whether or not there is a problem that stems from this repair or if there is an additional problem which has yet to be addressed by our company.
