He is just starting out and needs a better crew

The contractor (Steven) came Friday to fix my dryer. He determined that there was a problem with the belt and he would return the next day with a new one. I wrote a check for $100 as partial payment. About a half hour later he called and asked if he left the check at my home. He asked me to stop payment which cost me $30. He didn?t show the next day and when I called he said the part (fuse) would not be in until Monday. I asked why it?s now the fuse and not the belt like he said the day before. Bottom line was he never showed up on Monday, wouldn?t take my calls or answer texts and I never got my $30 from him. It turned out to not be the belt OR the fuse.

He does not communicate with his customers. I already paid him in full and still do not have any work done. He has not done anything that he promised. I should not have to be contacting him trying to reach him when he is the one who has my money.
