Willoughby Construction is a top-notch company that cares about their final product as well as the people they are working for. Alicia listens to your concerns and helps you make the best decisions for the space you are renovating. Alicia does an outstanding job explaining the stages of the renovation and what will be done. She is personable, professional, attentive to detail and very communicative. The contractors that worked with her were hard working and very pleasant. The timeline for our renovation was two weeks and they finished it right on time. Amazing! From start to finish, our experience working with Willoughby Construction was a positive one. My husband and I are looking forward to working with them again on future projects.

We always get names of Pros recommended by Home Advisor and then select at least 3 to get competitive quotes. We had many different projects for a 1949 Cape Cod house we purchased in Hagerstown. We had Willoughby quote on all of them after we met with Alicia and Gerard and impressed by their experience and what they could offer. Hired them for painting interior, refinishing HW floors, and cleaning and painting basement and installing new basement windows. Get two more quotes for exterior work and driveway resurfacing. I like to get multiple quotes from pros recommended by Home Advisor. After meeting with Alicia and Gerard from Willoughby Construction, very impressed by their advice on work we needed done and recommendations. Definitely decided they would be one of the contractors we would get quotes from. They won quotes for our interior painting, hardwood floors refinishing, and cleaning and painting our basement and installing new basement windows. Getting quotes for driveway resurfacing and redoing back porch roof and a new deck. Also needed a new water line to my house, but another contractor won that quote. Willoughby took on a daunting project: to transform our dark, dank, basement into a bright, clean space. The result was amazing. The basement has become one of the nicest rooms in our home! From start to finish, the crew attended to every detail with skill. We love the built-in bookcases and storage cabinets --the work of their expert carpenter. My favorite part of the whole experience was working with the contractor, who was so easy to talk to and very attentive to our concerns. I highly recommend this team of skilled, knowledgeable, and friendly professionals.

"The Absolute Envy of my Neighborhood!" Little did I know when I chose Willoughby Construction to build my deck and fence that I would become the envy of my neighbors. I feel like a proud parent every time someone comes and tells me how beautiful my deck and fence are (and this happens a lot!). I live in a new development of 200 homes and I have worked in the construction and mortgage industries for 28 years and Willoughby's final products have blown me away and have positively exceeded all of my expectations. Alicia, Gerard, David, Bobby and their crew show an exdtreme professionalism when it comes to their WORLD CLASS customer service ande exemplorary dedication toward perfection. My deck and fence are beautiful displays of their knowledge, skills, and abilities in their craft. Plus, they only choose the best materials....AND IT SHOWS! My neighbors have said things like "I wish I would have hired Willoughby" , "This deck is built more solid than my house!" and "Your deck and fence are much nicer than mine"!!! The only thin that my neighbors have not experienced is how well you are treated and listened to by everyone at Willoughby. They really care about their customers. Oh, and by the way...they will even treat your pets like ROYALTY. My new puppy Heidi just adores and fell in love with Alicia! The whole organization takes great prid in their craftsmanship and are completely devoted to makin you happy. Gerard will even show up unexpectedly and work till 9:00 p.m just so they stay on schedule. Seldom have I seen such goo qualities in a company from top to bottom. I have only one word when it comes to the quality of their work and the final product that they construct....SUPREME!!! They are the best construction Company that I have ever hired. My only regret is that I didn't have them build my new home. I can assure you that they will be on the top of my list when I can do my dream home. The crew went above and beyond my expectations, to the point that they fixed rotted wood that I didn't even know existed! They were very respectful and polite, and worked diligently to get the job done in the time allotted. Each day, they left the job site neat and tidy - they even washed my windows before the job was complete! I would enthusiastically recommend Willoughby Construction to anyone looking for a home improvement contractor!

There were a lot of problems with communication and the work was not always done properly. We had to be vigilant and had to call them back several times to make things right.

Very, very satisfied with the work. A top notch company, with top notch people working for them! They offered money saving suggestions, and were accessible to us at any time to answer our questions. They would stop by at night, or on the weekends, just to make sure all of our questions were answered and that we were satisfied with the progression of the work. They are truly customer focused, and I often heard them say "You are the customer, we want you to be happy!" We were so impressed with their work ethic on our bathroom remodel, they will be here again next week installing new flooring in our kitchen and laundry area! You cannot go wrong with Willoughby Construction!

The best, top notch, reliable, great work, reasonably priced, on top of everything they do. I brought them in to restore/replace a tin roof on a 100 year old house. They had to repair a lot of structural damage, a lot of structural damage (did I say that already), then make it look gorgeous and they did. I plan to keep using them until the house has been restored and it will be stunning!

I had a time-sensitive issue with removal of rotting siding underneath stairwell that formed a "shed" for an old oil barrell (long since removed). The "shed" then became a repository for handyman junk. I contacted Willoughby and Gerard and Alicia came to my home right away. The project was completed in less than 2 days. The place looks fabulous! I have already recommended them to my neighbor and would highly recommend them to all who need home repair -- inside or out.

Alicia did an outstanding job painting the inside of 5 closets. It was great quality work and very professional. She was on time and eager to get to work . It was really a pleasure having her working in our home. I would highly recommend this company for any projects around the house.

They did a great job! They experimented on an old piece of wood first with the stains. They did a fantastic job cleaning the deck (that had years of neglect) using not only the cyclone cleaner but also a power washer which meant they thoroughly cleaned the deck before staining. I am going to hire them back and recommend them in the future. They were also very friendly and kept us informed the whole way!

After working for a month with another contractor who basically got nothing accomplished, Gerard, Alicia and their crew swooped in. They got things done, fixed the mistakes the other guy had made and did a wonderful job! They are a pleasure to work with! Very friendly, professional and conscientious. We highly recommend them!
