Wilson Land and Tree, LLC

I contracted with Chris Wilson of Wilson Land and Tree LLC to remove a small dead Birch tree and to fell a larger dead Ash tree which was to remain on the ground in our woods. He removed the Birch and said he would cut the stump shorter later on. He felled the Ash but it got caught up in branches of other trees, which created a more dangerous situation as neighborhood children often run through or play in the woods. At that point, he told me he needed to come back because he needed to look at a house he wanted to rent, and asked for the $400 agreed to for the Ash tree to be given to him up-front in cash, so he would have a means of securing the house. He offered that his life was ""in a bad spot"" and that he had been sleeping in his truck and needed to get this house. He left his chain saw on the porch as collateral. Later that day, I found the chain saw was gone and he did not return again at any point despite numerous assurances that he would (see texts). I can provide pictures if needed, but it's clear from the texts that he is in agreement that the job has not been completed"
