Wind Proof Fence, LLC

They charged me $1900 to repair my fence and replace the gate. Repairs were not done properly, and the gate is hard to open and the boards are popping out. I feel they took advantage of an older person. I would never recommend them.

He is very unreliable and unprofessional and when I tried to contact him he did not respond, also he took my money and never came back to finish the job. Do not do business with him.

As far as my deck, I would not recommend them, he did a great job with the fence but just tore up my deck and he still needs to come back to finish, he is not good with doing follow ups.

I thought the repair man was very courteous explained everything up front and went the extra mile to check the rest of my fencing and added more stability to my fencing and did it without me even asking him to. I would recommend him and this company to everyone. Thanks you for the great job and going the extra for me.

The initial installation was sloppy, then did not clean the job site like promised, and now, about 6 months after installation parts of the fence are coming apart. No response to calls/texts.

Warning: do not do business with this company. Go read all past reviews. The average rating does not tell the story. I believe they inflate their overall rating by manufacturing fake high-star reviews. Notice how several high reviews are from West Virginia and other states. My story - the terms of my agreement were changed mid-project. Clint felt he was not making enough money so he would have to charge me more. His excuse was he forgot to measure a section of my fence line. He had many other excuses? When I was not buying it he tried to trick me into quickly signing a new contract that did not include that section of fence with the excuse system cleared out my original signature?. This is how I am 100% sure that he has also been dishonest in addition to being unprofessional. In the end, I did not agree to pay an extra $800 and he abandoned the project after demolishing my fence.

They just promise things and when the appointment comes just gave excuses

Customer service is awful. Does not know or follow one-call laws. I imagine the fence would have been fine, but never got that far.

We are very happy with the 6 foot wood privacy fence from Wind Proof Fence. The installer Joey was great! Amazing craftsman and they worked so very hard during some challenging weather. The owner Clint was very accommodating and his value was extremely competitive with high quality materials. I highly recommend Clint and Wind Proof Fence for your next fence job.

the owner Clint Nielsen has had several fence companies, the last being Clear Choice Fence in Colorado. Please, look at these reviews before giving him any money. He skipped town with thousands of dollars and multiple unfinished projects. Home Advisor, how do you let this same contractor do this over and over? Have you vetted him at all? . I signed a contract on September 16 with Clear Choice LLC, also known as TLC fence company. Mr. Nielsen, the registered agent accepted $4050 (50%) of the contract up front to pay for materials etc. He advised the fence would be 4-6 weeks for install. On October 19, I texted Mr. Nielsen at the number he provided, and he advised that they were running behind due to the death of a crew member. he then advised it would be 8-9 weeks before install. According to the contract, I had to accept temporary delays due to manpower or material shortages. Nr. Nielsen advised by e-mail that he was 2-3 weeks behind on their schedule for all their clients. Understanding a labor shortage, I waited over a month to recontact Mr. Nielsen. On November 22, I again contacted Mr Nielsen, and he advised that if I paid another $3200 upfront to pay for materials, he could start on the fence in 24 hours. He said that he could get the materials, and had a labor crew ready, but had spent my entire deposit for other projects, that were not mine. I advised him that i already paid over $4000 for materials. He replied that the money I originally paid him was no longer available to use for materials for my project. The earliest he said I could receive an install was the first week in January, 2022, if he finished other projects, and made enough money he would start my project. He advised in an e-mail on December 7, ** In the event our lead flow is shut off for our other location we will not be able to make any money therefore we will not be able to pay you back at all.** I advised him this was unacceptable, and requested a refund. He denied any refund, and said without extra money they could not start. He also said he would build other fences for clients that paid extra money, and would hopefully have enough money to fund materials for my project in January. He did send me contact information for 4 other victims in the same situation. He also advised he is closing his business in springs, and my fence would be his last project, thus eliminating any warranty. He intentionally spent my deposit elsewhere, a violation of CRS, and never showed up to even start the fence. His LLC in Colorado has subsequently been dissolved, and the website taken down. Buyer Beware! Home advisor does not screen these businesses. This particular business, Wind Proof Fence, was registered with the state of Oklahoma in 2021, not hardly in business for 20+ years.

The whole project started out wonderfully, Clinton seemed very professional very straightforward. As the project moved on there were some small glitches in it. I asked for windows to be put in my fence for my dog to be able to see and I asked for 4 inch pikes to go around my whole yard. This was all agreed on before I paid a deposit. On the initial estimate he had miss measured the amount of fence that would be needed which is an honest mistake. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and I agreed to pay the difference for the miss measurement. At that time he was unable to acquire the rest of my 4 inch pikes, and I am all about symmetry. 2/3 of my yard has 4 inch pikes and 1/3 of my yard has 6 inch pikes, I hate it. The fence work overall is very sturdy quality work. Clinton agreed that once 4 inch pikes were available he would come back and put in the four-inch pikes and place my windows in because the windows were not currently available. When the initial fence job was completed I did pay Clinton as agreed, he will now not return my calls and I believe he has no intention of completing the agreed work. My fence is not what I requested, nor what he agreed upon. I do not have my windows and I still have a very unsymmetrical backyard. I am completely dissatisfied with Wind Proof LLC and would never recommend them.

Installation crew did excellent work. Clint was very patient and professional in responding to every question. I definitely will recommend him.

Joe arrived as scheduled, discussed what I wanted and went to work. He removed the damaged fence and the horrible gate and began to install the most amazing gate and fence I had ever seen . He used a 6 x 6 post on each side of the gate to really secure it and make sure that it didn't sag as my old one did, causing me to be injured each time I opened it. This is heaven. I can now open the gate and close it with one finger to lock it. Wow. I am so excited, I have opened it several times to just hear the click of the gate shutting. Such a wonderful job and great workmanship. He cleaned up every piece of wood, screw and even placed some concrete pieces under the gate as I requested. I am a really Happy Camper. I would call him again in an instant and recommend him to everyone who needs any fence work done. He is a Rock Star...Thank You Joe and TLC Fence...If I could have given you a 10 I would have.

Lacks communication, but work is perfect!
