As owner of Window Genie and Your Holiday Lights, I wanted to let you know we pride ourselves on delivering value and an exceptional customer experience. I would like to respond to your review to provide context. After agreeing to have blue lights wrapped on your evergreen tree, the appointment was scheduled for Dec 10. Upon arriving, the installation crew was met by your husband who stated that he did not consent to any holiday decorations being installed on the property. I was able to rearrange and reschedule the appointment to the very next day. We did NOT charge any additional trip charge due to the intra-household miscommunication even though we sent a prepared crew to your home and were turned away. With Holiday Lights, we have unlimited free maintenance and service calls with every one of our installations. That is an amazing perk we offer and is both advertised and listed on every quote and invoice. I am curious why we were not notified of your issues with your install throughout the entire season until this review was posted. Lastly, because this request came in at the end of the season, I made the decision to install these lights at a our cost in order to help spread the holiday cheer. Maybe that was in vain. While we are disappointed to only earn a 3 star review, I will certainly take this as an opportunity to better our business (i.e. establish a better up-front contract for how the worry free guarantee works as well as request that all members of the household are aware of installs to maximize everyone's time and money). I wish you and your husband a prosperous year and luck in finding a better service for the value in the upcoming Holiday season."

"Hello Joan, thank you for taking the time to leave a review of our house wash and exterior window cleaning on your home. Upon reviewing our conversations, you were initially very pleased with the removal of the algae but noticed windows that were not streak-free after we were done cleaning them. Additionally, you expressed concern about dried dirt "coffee rings" being "all over the siding". We promptly sent out a crew to re-clean the windows and see if we could diagnose what "coffee rings" were on the home. You reviewed the home with our crew and confirmed that there was no "coffee rings". We asked that you take any pictures if they should happen or be visible, but they were not visible upon the initial cleaning, our return, or after the job. In fact, you said to Brody our crew lead that you were very satisfied with the quality of work after our return to fix the windows. I understand not receiving a 5.0 for quality because we had to re-clean a few windows - but at the end of the day - you had a successful house wash and received clean windows for the quoted price. Regarding the .5/5 Value For Money... There were no surprise or additional charges to the original quote and we stood behind our work with our Streak-Free guarantee and re-cleaned the windows for free and your home was left cleaned, as we promised. "Jeff, thank you for your review of our window tinting service. We installed privacy film on your home's windows. After finishing the work, you alerted us to approx a 3/4" inch gap on the top of one of the windows. I'm glad that we could come out within 48 hours to replace that piece of film. After speaking with the installation crew, during the final inspection they did not see that gap because there was a blind that was covering the top of the window. Regardless, they should have inspected behind the blind to see the entire window during the inspection, and I have reinforced that process with my employees. I'm sorry we made the small initial error, but am pleased we were able to immediately rectify the situation, to your satisfaction.
