UTTER INCOMPETENCE!!!!!!!!!! 11/25/2025 - UPDATE: THE INCOMPETENCE CONTINUES. A MONTH LATER OF PROMISES - which basically is just Window World Houston speak for LIES! - The shoddy work has still not been fixed. The lies continue. After a month of promises, the door should have been installed today, and YET AGAIN, another lie, they suddenly are not able to do it today. Considering I bought and paid for this door 6 months ago, and they couldn't write down on the order what I asked for, they tried to tell me they can paint the CUSTOM DOOR, because who wants what they ordered, right? Now, they have been telling me the door would be installed on November 2nd, yet it is NOVEMBER 25th, and I am no closer to getting my door. STAY AWAY FROM THESE INCOMPETENT IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!! Literally go ANYWHERE but to them. Funny how they have a 1.3-star rating on YELP and other review sites, yet a 4.7-star rating on Google. Dan Trader was excellent. Went over all the options with me and laid out a plan that met our exact specifications. Communications were exceptional. Windows arrived on time and the install was great. The team was professional and respectful of my property. They addressed the few concerns that I had right away. A supervisor came by and checked on the job. Clean up was good. The price was 1/7 of Renual by Anderson and 1/2 the bid from Lowe’s. I couldn’t be more pleased.

The WORST… I started this process over a year ago when I had a leaking window. It took several weeks to get the sales person out to measure (his name was Johnny). When he showed up he was intoxicated, but he gave me some excuse about a mental disorder (which I believed). He had mentioned that he had had lots of complaints before about him being drunk. He then placed the order, and I had to wait 8 weeks for the windows to arrive before installing. When they arrived it was the wrong size, so now I know longer believe his story about a mental disorder. He was definitely intoxicated. He had measured wrong, and now my tenant had to wait another 8 weeks for the new order to arrive. The windows arrived and they were installed (4 months later), so I thought we were finally done. Nope, months later I received a message from my HOA that they were going to fine me, because the insulation foam was visible, and it clearly was. I reached out to Window World to correct the problem, and I was told that a manager would call me back. That call back never happened. I called back again later and I was told the same thing again, but now I actually needed a new window as well, because my HOA demands that the two windows to that unit match. Now that I need a new order, I finally did get a call from the “manager” Jake Rodger, and I explain the situation and how this has been going on for over a year at this point, and how I needed a new window, but if I were to use them again I would need some sort of financial remedy in the form of credit. He assured me that he would take care of the foam as well as see what he could do about the credit. I explained, that after all this I would never use Window World again, but they were lucky that my HOA needs my windows to match and that I would give them the opportunity to make it right so that hopefully I could use them for my other rental units. I had to follow up with him several times via phone and text messages. I later discovered that the manager was a “field supervisor” not a manager. He did schedule with me to go remove the foam, but of course it was cancelled and he had to reschedule. I have continued to follow up on the credits with no response. He did finally get out there and remove the foam. However, I waited weeks again to get a call back from Johnny (sales person) about scheduling the measurements, and when he finally did set a day he didn’t show up. I followed up and received no response. Days later I discovered a quote/estimate requesting my signature in my inbox. So he decided to go without rescheduling without notification to advise the tenant. Finally after getting nowhere with the credit I decided to bite the bullet and just get it done. I very reluctantly signed the estimate to get the window on order. I thought finally I am done, and in another 8 weeks I will have this new window and be done with this mess. Nope, Johnny texted me that he had made a typo on the quote and that he had sent the revised at a cost of $365 more. Absolutely not. If you’re considering Window World especially in the Houston area I would highly suggest a different option. I would definitely pay significantly more to never use them again.

From start to finish, Window World did a great job. We only needed one window, so I was hesitant to even call, but they more than willing to do the small jobs. Mr. Gordon came out and was so helpful and nice. Didn't try to oversell me, but just told me the truth. Installers were quick and clean. Highly recommend.

Window World rep called me 3 days before installation date, following by few e-mails reminder on what to expect & perform prior to installation. Crew chief called 30 mins before arriving. Upon arrival, crew placed mats near windows & few protective covers over beddings. Tearing down the existing old windows was the largest part of the construction project. Afterwards, installation begun & completed well. The crew of 5 were skilled & careful of their own responsibilities. Once completed (under 4 hours), crew chief & I walked & tested each & every double-hung windows. He showed me how to remove for cleaning & explained the unique no. for warranty purposes if needed. Remaining crew performed clean up inside & outside the house. Thank you for a job well done! Note: Sale Rep Dan Trader was very knowledgeable and professional during first initial house visit. On second visit, he carefully measured all existing old windows and frames. He explained well the process and lead time.

It was a good experience and really updated the look and energy efficiency of the house. Our sales person was Mickey Flynn, Mickey did not hard sell us he just showed us the products and told us about how they were designed and what benefits we could expect from them. Ordering process was easy and quick, rep was very friendly and not pushy. Installation day was easy also as workers brought everything needed and cleaned up after themselves. Installation was great and quality of windows seems as expected so far. The only negative feedback I can say is the time it took to get windows once ordered. I was quoted a few weeks from purchase date which ended up being nearly 7 months to wait for them to arrive. I am aware there are global issues that might have delayed the process, however there was no feedback or communication from company other than the automated emails that came every other month or so to tell me the date was pushed back. More communication would have been greatly appreciated.

Dan walked us through the process and made it very easy. He was always very responsive if we needed anything or had any questions. He covered the different payment plans and options. He also let us know how long the windows would take to get here (due to COVID slowing processes everywhere), and he was right on the dot! The installation was quick, and the windows are marvelous! They bring a lot more light into the house opposed to our old windows. Makes it feel like a new home again. :)

Recipe for incompetence. Award job to low bidder (salesman Travis) in January. Wait three months for windows. Schedule day home from work, Earnest's crew arrives without wood trim. Assume this was just a miscommunication, reschedule work for following week. Take another day off from work, but crew never arrives. Forced to leave for an obligation with my Cambodian born wife left home alone. The crew arrives (after 5 PM, and several hours late without a call) without the wood trim. My wife doesn't know to send them away. I call the new crew lead (Andrew Berger) three times, and call the number in his voice mail. That number goes to another voice mail at Window World stating their office is closed. Finally Andrew calls back, and I tell him to have his crew leave. He refuses, and says the job is already started and they can't leave. He tells me I am wrong, that I didn't order wood trim. I then find out that he didn't even know that the job was rescheduled, nor did he bother to speak with the salesman before he told me I was wrong. Salesman confirmed that yes, we did request wood trim and that a quote was provided. Travis promised to "make it right". Crew members worked without safety glasses on, and managed to get caulk/glue in one of their eyes while on my property. Crew left after 8 PM without finishing the work, as they said they would have to return with the wood trim. I will not permit their unsafe workers back on my property, even if the cheap looking windows failed tomorrow. I contacted the high bidder, who will return next week to finish Window World installation that was left shoddy and incomplete. I will award the other 17 windows to the high bidder. Lesson learned, cheapest price isn't always the best way to go, there is value in hiring service providers that care.

Everything went well with the installation, the windows are all working great. My only issue was the very, very long wait time. I understand covid might have played a part in the delivery time but that long wait really was a inconvenience

Dan Trader came out to quote the window. We were replacing slider for picture window in master bath Delivery was as promised but late due to the massive snow storm. Installation was scheduled with in a few days if delivery

Excellent from estimate to install. The Install crew was awesome!! Very professional, courteous, knowledgable, clean and careful. I highly recommend Window world!! The only negative thing I can say is because of Covid & the hurricanes from last year, it took over 2 months to get our windows manufactured and shipped to Houston for installation.
