Window World of Tidewater

Had 3 windows replaced by Window World. They were fast and courteous. Will hire again to complete replacement for remaining windows.

The guys who did the work were a little late, but no big deal. It was a Saturday. My only worry because it was December. Finished by dark. Wow!! They were quick, neat, professional. They finished way ahead of dark. I would recommend Window World to my friends & family. Thanks!

Positive experience started with Jim, the sales manager, who came to the house to give me a quote. Punctual, pleasant, professional. David, the installer arrived on time, he was very neat. The installation was done perfectly and more quickly than I expected. Five stars!!

Started out by tearing everything off, not careful, just in a hurry. Broke some electrical fixtures and sprinter control box.

The installer was on time prepared & got right to work. Finished in 3 hours instead of all day. We are very pleased with the results.

The workers were punctual, did the work required answered questions & left the premises as they formed them.

Independent contractor Kevin was on time, courteous, professional and went above and beyond where was expected.

Was one of the easiest experiences I have had with a contractor from the salesmen to workman. She installers were courteous, efficient and I had no problems with their work.

Ed Danston came over to give estimate within a couple of hours. Ordered windows and within a few weeks they were installed. I was not home when work was done. Windows look great, very clean job and area was cleaned up.

<p>The salesman, Bill, gave me a rough estimate over the phone. Surprisingly, there were no hidden costs. I ended up paying what I was quoted. I was told I would get them installed in about 12 weeks. They actually installed them in about 8 weeks, ahead of schedule. The install guys showed up on time, did the job in the time they said they would and were respectful of my home. They cleaned up everything before they left.</p> <p>I am very happy with the whole process and product. They look great and drastically improve the look of my home, inside and out. I had a particular problem with my old windows which were very poorly finished and were drafty. The installers caulked the gaps, filled in the drafty areas and professionally finished around each window. We are happy and much warmer.</p> <p>Time will tell whether they leak or if the warranty is honored. I will be back on Angie's List if anything changes!</p> <br /> <br /> <br />

Kevin was the installer. He was right on time and courteous. He was extremely accommodating and professional. Also, did a fine job on the clean-up.

I wrote another review rating Window World with a C. This was because the salesman and people in showroom who promised to get back to me, did not. Took about 8 wks for delivery and first delivery did not go well. Thankfully we said do not destroy old door before we examine new one. The door had two different side lites! We had to send it back to factory and wait a couple of weeks for another one. Kimberly Taylor who I finally asked to deal with exclusively was great. She got us money off our bill for all our frustration and was professional, returned calls and very responsive. The second door looked good except it had a small dent in the base plate. We accepted it anyway with a few dollars off again because we really did not want to wait till spring (It was Dec..&I live in snowy area) so we will live with it. I would probably use them again because of their pricing and quality when right door is sent but I would only deal with Kimberly throughout process. I wish I could give it a B- because Kimberly was so helpful - but can only rate without + or -.
