Company was prompt and did an adequate job but the charge was $600 for 1 hour labor and 2 outdoor basic no frills faucets. Price was too high.

"You asked if $250 is a standard rate for repair of a copper pipe and valve replacement? Well, most legitimate plumbing businesses do charge thereabouts for such service. Plumbing companies do not usually charge a by-the-hour rate as the older plumbers once did. There is a lot involved with a legitimate plumbing operation such as the trucks, tools, and payroll for employees. We are not a handyman service, and do not advertise as such. We have extensive knowledge of the MA Plumbing Code and have years of experience to guide us in troubleshooting and repairing the plumbing/heating/air conditioning situations effectively and efficiently. Since it was an urgent situation due to no water, we arrived at your house within hours of your call. Once we saw the problem, we provided pricing options to your husband. He stated that you have never had a plumber there which might add to your pricing question. You also had black mold covering the walls and the bottom of the cabinet in the kitchen which we showed to your husband due to a leaky faucet that he was not aware of. He declined getting that repaired which was absolutely fine with me. Your husband could have declined the quote to replace the copper pipe and valve also. You are not obligated to go with the work as we told you on the phone call as well as verbally to your husband. That would have been a better option than to rate our company with a one star review. We did quality work at a comparative rate in an extremely timely manner and got your water back on. The repair actually was a two hour block of time between travel to and from your home, the assessment of all your home?s plumbing, the actual repair, and the paperwork. So to answer your question, it was two hours, and we feel that $250 is a reasonable emergency price to fix the plumbing problem you had. Our mission is to provide quality plumbing repairs and service at value-based pricing. We strive to avoid situations like this by providing repair options and pricing up front."

Al was very polite, professional, and thorough. My shower control needed replacing. He came in, knew exactly what happened and how to fix it which he did. He saw that the tub diverter was also not working and took the time to go find a replacement. He cleaned up after and made sure I was happy with the end results which I am. I would happily recommend Al for any plumbing needs.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Al was incredibly prompt in returning my call. It was a Sunday evening and he agreed to do the job right away. He was at my home within a couple of hours. He was polite and professional. I had an issue with corrosion on a bath shower/faucet causing the handle/stem to snap completely off the pipe in the wall. Al worked diligently for hours removing corroded parts piece by piece so we would not have to pay thousands cutting into the wall. Despite all the extra work he charged us the original price he quoted. He cleaned the area spotless when he completd the job. He also followed up the next day to see how everything was working. I highly recommend Wingman plumbing and will be using them for all my future plumbing issues.

Al was very prompt in returning my call and scheduling an appointment. He arrived on time and helped us fix two bathroom showers (replacement parts) and replace a leaky hot water tank. He gave us options with prices and helped us find older parts that could be used with existing fixtures. He explained everything thoroughly and made it easy to understand. I have already recommended him to others!
