Mr. Hanson is correct in pointung out my time overrun while replacing his front porch tongue-n-groove surface, which had survived both hurricanes Camile, and Katrina. Although my initial insp.included a crawl under the porch and "picking" the structural components needed for support, I failed to notice some rot on the tops of some of the floor joist. I took the liberty to replace the worst ones and add additional support to others; this lead to several more days on a job I had predicted would be on"
