Very efficient and courteous

They came promptly and were very courteous. However, they were extremely expensive for the time they spent doing the work. I paid $170 to change a faucet washer and replace two toilet tank flappers.

The service rep was at my house less than 20 minutes.. said could not find any problem with the system then charged me $125. I called them back and insisted they try again. The second trip low and behold they identified the problem in less than 15 minutes, disconnected an electrical part that was causing the problem (did not repair or replace the part) and then charged me for another trip at an additional $95. My total out of pocket expense was $215 only to have them find an electric valve malfunctioning on my downstairs zone and then unhook the zone valve. I now have no heat downstairs but my system isn't running constantly which was my original complaint. I would NOT recommend this company EVER. I thought plumbing companies were a rip off.. these guys are even worse.

Entered my request at 9:40PM and at exactly 8AM the following morning, Winter called made arrangements to have folks out to the house in the next couple of hours. They arrived on time, took care of the problem, respected the property and were gone in no time, issue resolved! Would certainly recommend them to anyone in the Richmond area based on my experience and will use them again! Also thanks to Home Advisor - had no idea who to go to and the site worked perfectly a terrific source for home repairs!

Good Techs, but $500 for 4 lbs of freon and turning the unit off and then back on again seemed a bit expensive/excessive.

Winter Plumbing cames out to replace a bathroom toilet shut off valveand the experience turned into a nightmare. First, after explaining that I needed a shut off valve replaced when I scheduled the work, they showed without one and had to go get it. Then they couldn't get the first one installed due to the quality of the pipe, so they had to go get another one. When they installed the second valve, they didn't wait long enough for the glue to set and the valve blow off and soaked my downstairs bathroom. After spending a while cleaning up the water, they finally got the valve installed and then charged me an extra $100. Never Again!

My experience with these pros was excellent. They were able to provide same day service for an annoying slow leak coming from the supply line for the diswasher. I was called 30min before their arrival so I knew exactly when to expect them. Two techs came in, saw the problem and knew exactly how to fix it. The part wasn't on hand so they ran to the HW store to find it. After comming back, the fix took all of 3 minutes. I appreciate their expertise and professionalism. I def. recommend this company.
