Michael and his crew completed this project in a very quick and efficient manner. It was completed with very close attention to detail and quality. I haave already chosen Winthrop Place for the next phase of our home project.

Effective, fast, and honest

Mike and his crew did a wonderful job. They are all very friendly and helpful. I am disabled in a wheelchair, Mike and his crew came out and built a beautiful deck with a wheelchair ramp attached to it. I can finally get out and enjoy some sunshine. Thank you, Mike.

Came in on time and on budget!

My toilet is not tight to the floor and we can't tighten it down. They did not put their name, address, or ph# to contact them. I am highly disappointed in this company.

The customer service, especially Michael Holden was excellent to work with and presented several options and potential barriers up front. There was little or no issue during the job itself, however it was nice to have all information well presented at a good price from good people.

We were very happy with the work that MIke and his crew did for us. They were very professional and friendly and their work was top-notch.

We hired Mr. Holden for a full kitchen remodel after our first contractor dumped us having taking our money. Holden must have figured out that we are easy prey to do the same. He talks and promises a lot, but you soon realize he does not know much, it is all about getting your money. The first few days went OK with everything done through sub-contractors. Next, a couple of guys came to install tiles on cement boards put down by our first contractor. They pointed out that the boards were not leveled but Holden ordered them to install tiles anyway (no one asked us). Not unexpectedly, the tiles right in the middle ended up all crooked, about a dozen dislodged. Holden came and told that the floor can be repaired but we must pay extra. Left us no choice, we had to agree, but then everything just came to a halt. Despite continuous talks about 'tomorrow' only a painter showed up for 45 min over the course of a week. In response to requests regarding his plans Holden became very irritated and all of a sudden told us to find somebody else. We asked him to return our money, but he just ignored it. The net result - he stole several thousand dollars, wasted additional 3 weeks of our time, and ruined our floor. He is not registered with BBB; going to court is our only option.
