Wolfe City Heating and Air

I paid he did half the install. He won't answer any phone calls or texts. He has not completed the job after a year. Insisted I pay all before i it was completed. I am having to pay someone to do the job. So no I do not recommend him at all

Donny Melton with Wolfe City Heating and Air was recommended via Home Advisor and had a couple of good reviews on their site. At first, he was very responsive showed up on time and got to work. He seemed to run into issues and was not able to fix it for some time but got our AC going finally and job done -- we thought. After he left is went the trouble started. Once the house got down to temp, it would not start up again so we called Donny and his next opening was a week out at which time he was a no show and in a follow up and new appt he was a no show again. It was summer and hot so we called another AC service who found an obvious alarm on the unit and fixed the issue. The equipment was fine and was an install issue which should have been basic setup. During this visit it was also found the blower was set too high and the refrigerant line filter was not installed at all. Overall Wolfe City Heating and Air did not finish the job correct the first time and on each attempt to get him to do so he was a no show. I am actually glad now that he did not show up as I may have never known of all the basic setup issues missed.

Donny is excellent at what he does and we would hire him again. He showed up for us on a Sunday on time and made a repair to get our AC running on a plus 100 degree day. Much appreciated. He also explains the systems and what was needed to repair so we could easily understand. We already had him back to install a wi-fi thermostat. Thanks Donny

Donny Melton and his team performed a quality job. They replaced both the air conditioning and heating equipment. The installation of both was done professionally. The new equipment arrived on time. Donny verified the new heating system worked during a warm day. He monitored the new air conditioning pressures and temperatures of the new compressor to verify that they were stable and within tolerances. He measured the return plenum and output air in the house for acceptable temperatures. His team cleaned up all uninstalled parts and equipment and hauled them off. I recommend Wolfe City Heating and Air for air conditioning and heating system replacement.

Outstanding service

My mother is 82 and her AC broke on Sat in over 100 degree heat. I found Wolfe City Heating & Air thru Home Advisor on Monday (today) at 10:20 am. Two beautiful hearted, professional, experienced men arrived at her house within 20 mins, and had a new, dependable AC installed by 2:30 pm today!! The AC was so reasonably priced and affordable!! My mother was elated at how kind thy were to her, and informative. Wolfe City we appreciate you and Thank You!! I would recommend you to anyone and everyone who needs you. Your service standards are amazing, and your compassionate staff was unsurpassable. Thank you so much.
