Darryl did an excellent job with our kitchen remodel. The job was completed on time. His attention to detail and the quality of the work is top notch. He was careful to protect our existing hardwood floor while the work was completed. I would highly recommend him. We will be hiring him again for future remodel projects.

We remodeled our living, dining, kitchen, powder room, and family room in 2009. Wood construction was honest, on time, great communication and attitude. Some custom work on a beautiful mantle and many other special touches.

I am a landlord that lives in Chicago. One of my rental units in San Marcos had a water leak that destroyed the lower cabinets in the kit. After calling around looking for a cabinet company John Wood Construction was the only company that could get out to take a look (Next day). After speaking with John and seeing his great reviews I hired him. It was a seamless experience and John had excellent communication skills with constant updates. John suggested that if the restoration company could save the cabinet faces then he could save cost by just building the cabinets. Highly recommended!

Bang up job!! Darryl worked on various jobs at my house and proved to be a master craftsman in all of them. He tore down a wall / re-textured, redid an entire bathroom / fixed massive plumbing problems, reset upstairs toilet, bathroom fan, kitchen hood fan, etc. He even has access to lower cost / unskilled labor to help keep costs down on less skilled jobs jobs, in my case i needed some outside heavy labor jobs to get done. He was the middle bidder, not cheapest / not most expensive but I must say, value for money I would have trouble imagining better than Darryl and the people he works with.

Darryl Wood installed a skylight at my home resident within 3-4 days. He did a great job. He was responsive and quick in providing the initial estimate. When a problem was discovered initially, he informed me immediately what needed to be done prior to the installation. He prepped the area always before working to miniminalized the construction impact on my interiors, tolerated my curious cats, dealt with the rain, when it did rain. He was courteous, pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable, and hard-working. And the price for the work was right on. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Wood construction was great. On time ,on schedule and on budget. We were very pleased in the quality of workmanship as well, the bathroom looks great!! I would recommend them to anyone needing a contractor.

Wood Construction helped us with our kitchen remodel. They took down two walls and raised the ceiling to make the space more open. One of the walls was structural, and they installed the proper beams to keep the integrity of the wall. They also constructed an intricate stair railing with parts that we provided. Overall, they did a fantastic job, and we are very happy with the results and their price. They took care to protect our furniture and floors, and cleaned up every day before they left. They finished on-time, and on-budget.

Daryl worked with us on price and also on his schedule when the materials were late. He did a nice job for us and I would recommend him. He even let me help him on one of the projects to cut down the cost. He even rescued our dog when he got out the front door when we were gone.
