"I am sorry to hear the work was not up to satisfaction. I was told otherwise when I was paid and do not accept payment until my customers have approved of all work. I do apologize for any inconvenience. However, I do feel this is exaggerated and one-sided, with inaccuracies throughout. Deck job time estimate alone was 3 days, in the contract, not including added work due to discovery of further rot, which inevitably adds time to a job. The claim that I worked for an hour at a time is simply fabricated. Replacing a deck is not something that can be done an hour at a time. I performed full work days the first week (the 3 days scheduled), with work finished up the following week around a set schedule. I emailed prior to arrival and completed all work up to your wife's satisfaction. I would have appreciated a phone call to discuss your concerns since you were not present after the first day of work. (Out of town so not sure how you can make these claims on my work days).
