He just did a bad job and is half-done. and he refuses my calls and text most of the time. He refuses to come back and complete the job

I was in a great hurry and calling several places to get quotes for exterior painting of a rental property. Logan was quickly responsive and also able to schedule the work for a fast turnaround. I was very pleased with the quality of the work, and the quality of the cleanup afterward. Logan was very communicative through the whole process and his price was very competitive. I would most definitely use this company again.

If you want communication and schedules kept do not hire this guy. Many no shows with no text or call. Would not answer my attempts to reach him on these days. Kept waiting for him to come through with his promises and it did not happen. Had to get our cabinet fronts back and when they were returned only half had been sanded and some primed. This was 6 weeks after promised completion date.

I hired Mr. Cooley back in August 2021 to pressure wash and stain a deck after he kept calling me to see if I had gotten any more estimates, he seemed to be in a need for work. We agreed on a price, how ever he wanted half up front, I told him that I wouldn`t do that. If he had to have money up front I would seek other contractors. So he agreed to do job without any down payment. But kind hearted as I am I did tell him that I would pay him after he showed up the first day for the work he had done for that day. He did show up to pressure wash. So I paid him more then enough for that service. As I was asking him some questions about the staining he was going to do when he comes back, he cut our conversation off quick to take a phone call. while on his phone call, he just left. Now that I think about it, the day he came out to give me an estimate, he cut that conversation off quick over a phone call and had to leave? Shouldn`t business come first? Well I called him the next day to finish discussing our conversation on the stain. He said he had already bought 4 gallons of stain, then he cut me off short again, saying he had another call he had to take. Said he would call me back tomorrow. Well its been 2 months and I have never received that phone call or has he been back to finish job!!! I would have thought if he had invested $200 out of his Money to buy stain, that he would have come back... Man practically begged me for the job then leave me hanging....Oh and the pressure washing wasn`t the greatest. He peeled the stain off the siding of my house in a few places, knocked the bottom out of my screen door with the pressure washer, and didn`t get the back side of the pickets. I had to redo what he had done...

They did the extra little things that make for a complete and better job. They power washed the house, decks and all the exterior landscaping timbers. If time permits, I will have them back to paint the decks and timbers. They paint houses too. Great work by great people.

This is an update to my earlier/previous review. After speaking with a Home Advisor Problem Resolution Specialist for direction with this current contractor (Mr. Logan Cooley, doing business as Wood and Screw and Cooley Customs), I was advised to give Mr Cooley another opportunity and more time to complete the work as he had contracted. To date, 7 weeks have passed, and he has yet to complete a 2-day project (he started the work on March 3, 2020 and the date of this review is April 23, 2020). His quality of work is sub-par, and he just could not seem to put priority on completing my small project. He asked for a substantial up-front deposit, which I gave since it should have been a short project. I have not received adequate completion to warrant what I paid him. He still has not completed the work and it looks like he is not interested in coming back to complete the work. He is primarily interested in just getting the money as quick as he can, regardless of doing the work he has committed to. At this point, I have Home Advisor escalating my formal complaint to arbitration. From my experience, and my opinion, BEWARE! If you are interested in additional info and feedback on Mr. Cooley, HomeAdvisor has the particulars regarding his performance on my project. Original review from earlier (4/6/2020): I look for contractors to stand behind their word, to stand behind their completion date, and to communicate when issues or delays arise. He is not letting me know when there are delays. He says he will be here to do the work and then does not show up, he is undependable, and the quality of work that he attempts is below par. He always has an excuse for why he cannot show up when he schedules the time on-site.

The crew did a great job of staining my deck! They were quick and efficient, and my deck looks fantastic. They also cleaned my siding and it looks great too! I will hire Logan and team again for future painting projects as well.

They were neat, polite and respectful of how particular I m about my house.

Logan is a friendly and professional owner, however his sheetrock repairman/painter performed poor workmanship. They painted and repaired settling cracks and some ;hanger holes in one room of my house plus painted ceiling and walls. I wanted to see how they completed the job before requesting additional house work. The time it took to do the job, estimated cost, and the urgency to complete the work were excellent. Logan's promise to make necessary adjustments after the fact were commendable, but I had enough and just wanted the project to be over with.

We couldn't be more pleased. We received a beautiful job on the kitchen cabinets. The job started on time and was finished on time. Communication was wonderful on a daily basis. Everything about this project was handled very professionally. We recommend this company highly. We will use them for all our future painting needs.

We were so impressed with the professionalism and the communication of this business. The work began on time and was completed on time. Every time we had a question we were called immediately. They painted the exterior of my home. The owner came out several time to insure that all was going well and on their own they redid a few difficult sections to make sure that it look amazing.

Horrible contractor. He didn't show up when he was supposed to and did a horrible job when he was there. But he will cash your checks as quick as he can. The work had to be completed by someone else. If you still want to hire him I suggest you perform a background check first.
