"Upon our first meeting I conveyed many times that when I start on a job I stay on it until it is completed ( this is one of the many reasons all my previous customers are so pleased with the work I do ). I also stated many times ( before Mary Beth & Steve signed the order ) it would be best case scenario that I would finish the job scheduled ahead of Mary Beth & Steves job at the end of December in which I would start their job in January. That I had to wait on a contractor that had multiple renovations to complete and contractors ( because they are working multiple jobs ) more than likely be later. Before signing the order form on 08/25/22 we had multiple meetings after our first meeting in July. Each time I said I had to complete the multiple jobs scheduled ahead of them. Before signing Mary Beth & Steve stated time was not a factor. I also explained over and over that my customer scheduled before they was having many renovations performed by a contractor that could take longer than expected. Before I arrived in November to measure, I made multiple visits and had samples sent by my supplier to ensure the end result would exceed their expectations ( as I do with every customer ) each time they changed the way they wanted their kitchen ( each time I went out of my way to accommodate). When I arrived to measure I was greeted very adversely and told that if I could not start by March 15th. that they would cancel (stating they had received a cheaper quote ) I stated that I was waiting for the contractor to complete his part of the job and had no control over his completion date. While I was stressed as I was working seven days a week to catch up after hurricane ian. The personal issues mentioned are that I do what I do not for the money but to create happiness for my customers. I go the extra step to ensure my customers are very happy with all aspects of the job as I had enough conflict in my life ( divorce many years ago ). Mary Beth stated that their last kitchen remodel was a nightmare and Steve did not want this to happen again. We rescheduled for another measurement. Again be met with an adversarial attitude without providing the information to complete the measurement. After the third meeting for measurement with the same result I offered to refund half of the deposit as it was apparent they wanted to cancel. The other reviews that are seen here are just a few of my many happy customers. Most of my customers are referrals from completed jobs. After the hurricane, multiple customers ( looking to replace damaged parts due to flooding ) that I had completed many years ago. Stated how beautiful their kitchens still look today. Obviously, their lower quote did not work out."
"Jim had his cabinets painted and they were starting to peel. Working with cabinets that were not factory painted adds a lot of time. Jim was not available for the scheduled installation. Was very hard to contact ( did not return calls ) to reschedule for revised installation date. During the installation they were constantly in the kitchen ( even stepping over me while veneering ). To achieve the very high level of detail I put into every job requires a lot of focus. Constant interruption breaks that focus and adds a lot of time to the process. As I always go out of my for all my customers I made multiple changes for Jim that I did not charge for !!!! This also added a lot of time to the installation."
