Worcester County Chimney & Masonry

I called WCC&M to inspect my chimney and cap, they came out within a week and inspected it for a water issue. I had quote within a week and they came out as soon as weather permitted. The water leak issue is resolved and it looks great. I recommend them highly for your masonry and brick work. Great group of guys and did great work.

Workers were great, did everything they said they were going to do. My only complaint would be they left mortar all over the lawn and flower beds

Jon and Ian were very professional, efficient and showed up early. They didn’t try to sell me services that I didn’t need. The price was fair so I’ll have them back next year for my annual cleaning.

Cleaned & inspected fireplace flu and I had them back a year later to install a liner for furnace flue. Both went like clockwork.

We needed crowns and caps on our two chimneys. We ordered some custom caps that came out great. The work was done quickly and well. Overall happy with the work

They were courteous, worked efficiently and we were pleased with the work completed.

We were charged $843 for 4-man_hours chimney work (repointing a 4.5' by 2' area on our chimney, spray coating a waterproof compound on the whole chimney, sealing 5 feet of chimney flashing, and sweeping the flue of a fireplace that has never been used). We were taken advantage of by being severely overcharged. Since no more than couple cups of mortar was used for the repointing, the cost should have been no more than $200-$300.

I thought the price was fair and I was very pleased with the work that was done. Very efficient and communicated what he thought I may need to continue to operate the wood stove going forward. Thank you.

Pat and the crew did a tremendous job rebuilding the crown on my early '50s cape. From the initial assessment through execution, they were quick, courteous, and thorough. Their pricing was fair, and came in well below other contractors in my area (I had 3 other quotes for the job.) Unlike the others, however, they took the time to really examine the work, going up on the roof to see the condition of the chimney and properly estimate the costs to do it right. This level of service is unusual, compelled me to accept their offer, and they proved to be just as service oriented through the end of the job. Will work with them again on any future masonry work, and recommend their crew without reservation.

Honest review. Called on 12/14 Monday, spoke to either Pat or Mark, unsure. He was friendly & professional. Quoted me $169 for cleaning and would discuss if add'l parts/work was needed.They were able to come the next morning which was great..Called ahead to let me know they were running late next morning, which was fine. Dylan arrived and I explained the issue (chimney blockage causing heat to shut off). He vacuumed the chimney out, removed a nest (which he showed me) and also adjusted the cap on the chimney which wasn't properly installed. The heat worked fine after all was done. I was satisfied except that I was charged $249 instead of the quoted $169. That is why I gave the lower rating, otherwise it would have been a 5 star. I should have questioned him at the time he gave me the invoice but I was working and distracted and didn't realize the discrepancy until after he was gone.

Ok inspection service, but high price estimates for cleaning, and even higher pricing for follow up recommendations - Poor follow up after initial service (didn't return call) and I found much cheaper pricing for upgrade recommendations.

I went to home advisor on a Monday received a call on Tuesday and I had an appointment for Friday of that same week. I was quoted prices depending on what I needed. The two people that came out were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They were thorough and only charge me for an inspection because my chimney was not that dirty. Suggested I have it swept in 2017. Highly recommend this company.

They don't try to jury rig chimney caps like other businesses, they measure and order specifically for each individual chimney.

Called them on very short notice, the owner picked up from vacation and set up the appointment for the next day. They arrived on time, did great work and were very friendly and helpful. A bit expensive, but seem of high quality.
