Wonderful Experience with Worth Moving! I moved from my long-time home in Pennsylvania to Virginia, as a senior, single/widow and this was my first major move. I researched moving companies and Worth Moving provided me with the personal service I was looking for. They explained the various services, estimating, quotes... This enabled me to make price comparisons and informed decisions. They were professional but personable and very patient as I called multiple times and asked questions. On moving day, I was organized due to their coaching, and their team was efficient, effective and nice to deal with. The delivery to my new home was just as smooth with no items damaged or misplaced.

I trusted Worth Moving Company to handle my move after 20 + years of military service, but they completely let me down. They failed to deliver on their promise and refused to return my money. Their customer service was appalling, and I felt threatened when I disputed the charge. Avoid this company at all costs." As a veteran, I expected better from Worth Moving Company. They were unreliable, unprofessional, and downright dishonest. They took my money without providing any service and then resorted to threats when I sought a refund. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Customer service and value for money was good, but the moving crews were argumentative and somewhat unprofessional. Moved me twice, once locally and once out of state. Just not a lot of good movers in the Richmond area, perhaps this is a good as it gets but not as good as it should be.

Worth Moving has moved me 4 times with a 5th time coming in October and each move has been a great experience. Matt always sends professional, experienced crews. With each move, they wrapped all furniture before placing on the truck and even helped arrange items after unloading. When I need to move, I call Worth.

Completely inexperienced and inept team of movers who did our move. They lost our contract, had to scramble at the last minute to provide service, and were terrible across the company about returning calls. Also damaged furniture. They still have all our property in storage and I am very skeptical that we will get it back in good condition.

We were moving a large gun safe and the guys they sent didn't have the proper equipment to move it. Not the fault of the guys moving the safe, but the dispatcher. The safe had to be turned on it's side and dropped a few feet to get there. Inside shelves banged around but lock still seems to work. We were told that the warehouse was cooler in the evening but got hotter during the day. It was at least 100degrees during the day. Not sure if this will work very well for our needs, but hopefully it will be ok.

Friendly business people. More than a couple of pieces of broken/damaged furniture lends to likely some carelessness.

We scheduled a move and storage with Worth Moving 2 months in advance. We reconfirmed a month out and all was good. They never confirmed the day before as promised, and on move day, they did not show up. Called them and they said give them 2 hours (the truck was broken down). 2 hours later, no call. After several calls were unreturned (including the operations manager, sales people and customer service), by 3PM, the truck finally shows up with only 2 guys. The management have no clue how much was put in place for this move date. I do not know but I get the feeling they purposely double-booked and then chose the move they wanted to do. NEVER USE WORTH MOVING! UNRELIABLE and UNRESPONSIVE ON A VERY IMPORTANT DAY FOR ANYONE MOVING

The packers Robert khamyra snoot Finn Keon and simba made my packing experience a lot better came in show me professionally work and was real polite and hardworking to get my move done

The company rescheduled my move at the last minute. They offered a discount for the inconvenience then charged me more than the estimate. They are not returning my calls or emails to get this straightened out.

We used Worth Moving for our move from Richmond to Virginia Beach. Communication with everyone was professional and timely. Everyone we encountered was genuinely invested in making our move as seamless as possible. Every item was cared for as though it was their own. We can not thank you all enough! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs their services!

They were great! I've never had my furniture packed so well! Terrell, Dominique and Tyler did an excellent job! Very professional and courteous! I will be using them again.

Company that will do a good job

I was overcharged by 50% and while they admitted the mistake, they have yet to correct the overcharge after 30 days. They also didnt show up on scheduled moving date and lied about attempts to contact me. They fit me in 4 days later. They cant be trusted.

Worth moving was excellent! They responded promptly to our request for a quote and their estimate was spot on. The project involved moving some belongings to storage for 10 days and then moving 2 storage cubes to our new home. They used the same crew for both jobs and the crew worked very hard to get everything moved in a timely manner. They were professional and conscientious and careful With our belongings. I highly recommend Worth Moving. I would use them again!

Conscientious but quick.

My experience with Worth Moving was VERY disappointing. Packing went fine, storage fine. But, they never delivered my 3 smart TVs, a table, a hand truck, and several other items. Also, there were a number of items that I had to repair or replace (if possible) because one or more parts were damaged. They seemed to give me the run-around when trying to get those items delivered later until it was obvious they had no intention of trying to get them to me at all.
