Wright Building

We have built 6 custom homes over the years in various parts of the country - Pete Wright and Wright Building is the best, most conscientious, and most ethical and transparent GC we have ever worked with.

Pete Wright is the only builder I would use again of all the builders I have hired in my life (there have been 6). He has done everything from outdoor excavation and drainage to small plumbing fixes. Bottom line, he is THERE when you call him. We began with a major renovation of the 1 acre back yard (completely changed contours and installed large pipes to take water to the outer drains). Then moved to completely changing the location of the walls in a LR/DR/Gallery area with switching out all doors and windows, re-stuccoing the house (with Pete finding a way to save costs by using some of the older stucco as a foundation - harder to do, but also cheaper! frankly, I wouldn't have know the difference if he ripped it all off), then changed the roof edge to beef it up, sand-blasted some old wood in two pergolas, redesigned and repainted, All of this was from 2015-2019. Then we totally switched up where the kitchen and family room were located in the house. that was completed in 2019. In 2020, we had adult children who wanted to live with us during COVID, so he quickly renovated an area of the house to give them privacy, including a bedroom/bathroom and powder reno. Now he is renovating another bedroom and bath. After this, we have two more bedrooms/baths and a hallway to complete (next year) and he will most certainly have those projects. In summary, I trust him to show up, do the best work, give me a fair price and be there when you need him. I don't know what else you could ask from a builder!

Pete Wright and his crew were absoulutly the best contractors we have ever worked with. Pete Wright is a meticulous craftsman that makes sure every detail of the project is done to his high standard of workmanship. All the craftsman that worked on this project for Pete were extremely professional and courtious and couldn't have been more helpful. I would recommend Pete Wright to anyone. I give him an A++ rating.

After checking out a number of other contractors, I used Wright Building Co to install a 5Kw photovoltaic array and two solar light tubes on my rooftop. Pete Wright was very knowlegeable and first made a thorough evaluation of my requirements, producing an arrangement calculated to provide at least 97% of my average current annual usage. The crew, consisting of Pete, Ryan and Eric were all skilled professionals, working meticulously like surgeons, completing the job in four days, and leaving the premises clean and tidy afterwards. The cost was several thousand dollars less than the next highest estimate. If I could, I'd give them six stars!

Pete Wright did a great job, everything was finished on time and on budget. He worked with us along the way to make sure everything was just the way we wanted it. I couldn't be happier!

I can't say enough good things about Pete and his work on my house. The work was extensive and Pete was on the money with budgeting, the work, and timing of the project. He communicated very well with things that came up during the project and worked hard to keep me close within budget. Many people have commented on the extreme quality of Pete's work on the house. It is a show piece that I am proud to live in.

They did a fabulous job of renovating two bathrooms I have at a Palm Desert, CA, condo. Pete Wright, Jr, was the contractor. The job was completed to my specifications--down to the last tack! --and in the time agreed upon. I would recommend them to anyone for a large to small interior construction job. They may do exterior too. But I know of their work "on the inside." Thank you for helping me find them.
