I would never recommend someone to this company. Their customer service practices and billing practices are horrendous. It should not take 6 months to send a final bill to the customer or communicate charges that were not covered by an insurance replacement. Then threaten the customer with voiding warranty if payment is not paid in full. After speaking to my insurance company about these extra charges I was told they did the supposed repairs and then asked insurance to pay.

We had an incident with XLR8 and the condo we rented. We were really upset and honestly did not think it was fair to us for our loss but after speaking to George at XLR8 not only did we feel that we were heard, but he did his best to help us and get some compensation for our losses. The incident was not all XLR8 fault, the condo management company had more fault because of known issues that lead to the incident. However, the management company to this day has not even offered an apology. But with that being said I am thankful for George and his hard effort in helping us and XLR8 for also hearing us out and offering to help with some of our losses. Not many companies look after their clients when incidents happen and XLR8 went above. Thank you again.

Only one person at the company would talk to me about my concerns, then he could never remember what he said during our conversations. I would like to add pictures to my review because as they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Replacing damaged wood means replacing rotten wood only. 5/8" plywood was replaced with 1/2" plywood. Had spoken about my concern with one small area of the roof where there is a sag. My new roof is installed and it looks exactly the same. They did not remove or replace the old boot around the power mast. The roof edges sag. Was excited about getting a new roof, but it looks exactly the same as my old roof. If I had not been home I would not think it had been replaced. My neighbor and a landscaper I hired both asked me when they were going to start replacing the roof on the day they finished replacing the roof. Have not heard from anyone for over a month. Do not know what is going on. They told me the decorative wood on the chimney needs to be replaced, I asked them to do the work and they refused. They replaced rotten fascia boards, but did not caulk, prime or paint the wood. They put some flashing behind the fascia board and some in front of the fascia board. The drip edge is not caulked where two pieces join together. In some areas the drip edge sticks out further than the shingles edge. As I said, would love to post pictures. The drip edge is also twice as long or wide than the old drip edge. Have not seen any drip edge that wide anywhere. They installed straight pipes instead of vents for bathroom, laundry room and kitchen vents. Had to insist they change to regular vents instead if straight pipes. All gutter down spouts and vent pipes were packed with roofing debris, parts of shingles, shingle grit and roofing nails. Hired a company to clean out the dryer vent and they kept pulling out shingle pieces and nails. None of this happened the last time I had the roof replaced. They don't understand why any of this matters to me and were exasperated that I noticed all these things. I am not a roofer so I can only imagine what I did not notice.

Sean B. Represented XLR8 Roofing and Construction by showing me the difference in the quality of the shingles on my home and the shingles he recommended to replace them. What a difference there is in shingles. The installers were excellent in their work ethic, quick and nonstop from the time they arrived until they left at the end of their work day. When the job was finished Sean was back to make sure everything was completed and that I was satisfied with the finished product. I couldn't have had a better representative from a roofing company to help me with my roof replacement.

Rick Rodriguez was excellent, extremely knowledgeable and very understanding with all my questions. It was my first time dealing with a roof repair and he was there for all my questions and calls. Workers came and were extremely professional and mindful of us as we went out every couple of hours to check progress. When job was finished Rick, my dad and myself walked around the home to inspect everything and he answered any questions I had if I saw anything that didn't look right (although I had no clue if it looked funny or not). Would definitely recommend his services in a heart beat. Best price I got out of all my estimates and research and also the best warranty and accommodations. Very quick in the process, only 3-4 weeks out after signing contract. Others would be months out, which this was one of my motivators to selecting him on top of all the other great things and services. Extremely pleased with out new roof and the looks of it since we completely changed shingle color and style. No worries now of any leaks or rotten wood as it was all replaced. Amazing!!!!

They gave me an install date which was 3-4 weeks out BUT scheduled and did the job within 2 weeks. This is a good and bad scenario; good to get it done quickly but I was budgeting their payment based on the 3-4 week date and therefore am in a bit of a bind to pay the remainder of the bill in one payment.

Awesome! from start to finish. Sean and Oscar were prompt, professional and extremely courteous throughout the entire job. Oscar worked diligently and quickly. He took extra precautions to ensure all the debris was disposed of properly and job site was meticulously maintained. The entire experience was positive and hassle free.
